REPUBLICAN INCUMBENTS NEARLY UNBEATABLE IN 2010, SAYS TOP POLITICAL ANALYST
THE FREEDOM POST ^

NBC News political analyst Charlie Cook, the editor and publisher of The Cook Political Report", appeared recently on MSNBC's "Hardball" with Chris Matthews, and shared his outlook for the upcoming 2010 elections in November. Along with Cook were other political talking heads who basically confirmed Cook's assumption that 2010 is shaping up to be a very tough year for Democrats and a potential banner year for the minority party, the Republicans.
Things could change, obviously, but the excerpts of the conversation between Matthews and Cook are a bit of an eye-opener if you're a Democrat, and encouraging if you're a Republican...

Although good, I still would like to put the fear of God in several of the Rinos. They need to know that they are there at our leisure.

The RATs are clueless as to just how enraged the American people are at the treason and arrogance of these Socialists. I was surrounded by Democrats at last April’s Tea Party at the State Capitol. Many Democrats are as angry as we are. The MSM is delusional in their refusal to accept reality. We The People vow to clean the sewer that is this Congress and this Administration. Our children and grandchildren’s freedom and future depends on it. We can do no less!

Well that is saying something for Cook to say this. While a lot of people say he is a middle of the road analyst, I have been watching him for years and don't believe it one little bit. He's an old school Democrat (but not a left wing nut) that pretends to be non bias.
So, if he's saying these things he is trying to warn the Democrats. Let's hope they don't listen.

I’m promising you guys...even if we can’t take McCain down, we’re going to make him fight for it. I still think we can beat him this year.

It's too late for these a*s*holes! I have been emailing, writing, calling, etc. my 'congressperson', Jared Polis (Colorado, 2nd cd) for months requesting a meeting...so far no response. My plan is to start picketing and protesting, with signs, at his home office in the people's republic of boulder, colorado. I need at least another person to hold the video camera to record when I get assaulted! Any takers? Seriously, though, does anyone know the answer to these questions? Is is legal to use a bullhorn? If leftist thugs confront me on the public street, how close to my face do they have to get before I can legitimately call the police or act to defend myself? Are there any restriction son the size of the signs I carry? I know these questions seem elementary to Americans, but after the last few years, I don't know. I recall an incident in the 90s when I was doing this, advocating in front of a post office for the colorado taxpayers bill of rights...some woman complained, the cops came, told me to leave or I would be arrested. Can I expect the same at commissar polis' office? Any info/support freepers can give me would be much appreciated. Thanks, David

Let’s not get over confident about 2010. We must all remain vigilant and not complacent...No close elections with the devious ‘Rat party candidates.... obliterate them in huge numbers so they cannot steal votes for victories.

I’m looking forward to a lot of good news in November. At the top of the list will be the defeat of Specter and Dodd- plus the defeat of Harry Reid would be the cherry on the whipped cream.

All these arguments assume we will have a national election in 2010 but I believe we cannot take for granted that we will. This Congress and Administration currently in power are real deal socialists, and having attained their power of majority they are not likely to willingly relinquish it.
I am growing increasingly concerned and convinced that as the fall elections draw near we will witness the unraveling of a “national crisis of such a magnitude as our nation hasa never known that we cannot possibly risk transitioning the power of government during this perilous period”.
This Congress has trampled and flagrantly abused the Constitution more than any other Congress in our history. Do not assume they will allow the mere formality of elections to stand in their way of remaining in power.
I have not spoken to nor heard from a single person who has previously escaped from a Communist or Socialist regime who has not expressed serious alarm about what is happening in our country this year. To a person they have expressed the same fear; they left everything they had to come here and have no doubt it has been worth it. But if America succumbs, there is no place else to go.
Have you considered where you will escape to?

There are over 200 million privately held firearms in this country. The 2nd amendment is the insurance policy for the first amendment.
