I admire Sarah Palin. She gives me hope for the future, and reminds me of the great Jewish heroine Esther.
Humble, reverential and courageous. I hope she becomes the first female president of the United States. I have carefully observed the impressive onslaught of lies and hatred directed at her since she joined John McCain in his bid for the White House.
I will review just a few of her splendid accomplishments.
What I like most about Sarah Palin is her love for her husband and her children. I've long believed there is nothing nobler a person can do in this life than to do a good job raising their children; it appears that Todd and Sarah Palin have an excellent marriage and a great family.
That's no small success in this divorce-ravaged society.
My second favorite thing about Sarah Palin is her love for her country. I know that her political activism springs from a deep appreciation of our rich history and hope-filled future.etc..

That's multi-millionairess, front-runner loser to you.
Hi Walter, my sweet! HAPPY, HEALTHY NEW YEAR TO YOU TOO! I've been home here for a while now. I'm all healed up now and feisty as ever!
That's a lie itself.
It was fabricated because Palin outmaneuvered her enemies by resigning, and her enemies needed to come up with a Plan B in desperation.
You can disguise the lie by a lot of excuses but it is still a lie.
How are holding two live press conferences and going on numerous interviews after her decision a "lie?" Where among the press conferences and interviews did she lie?
She resigned because she could not take the heat, because she is weak.
Again, that is simply your opinion and it just isn't shared among the majority. Even liberals have conceded that Palin did the right thing by resigning. And she resigned because she's "weak?" ROFL. She could have walked away from politics after resigning from the Oil Commission, but she didn't. Why didn't she?
Bankruptcy due to law suits is a lie advanced by the Palin people. She could have waited few months and made millions of dollars on her book and paid all her debt.
Apparently, you did not read her book nor looked at the loophole of Alaska's Ethics Law that her enemies were using to destroy her with. If she would have "waited" a few months she would have been flat broke. But instead of praising her for clinging to the office, you and her enemies would still criticize her anyway.
It is a stupid excuse for a weak person who is very strong on rhetoric and nothing else exactly like Obama.
Yeah whatever.
It's quite obvious that Palin represents a threat to one of your establishment candidates you planned on shilling for in 2012. That's why your reaction to her is vitriolic and irrational.
Exactly! My thoughts as well!
I wasn't aware there were health issues, but I haven't talked to you in a couple of years. God bless you and get well quick--we have a country to save LOL...
I’m beginning to suspect jv’s antipathy
towards Palin is not a regional problem
but rather a cultural one.
No, not health issues.
I just took a terrible fall on a diving boat.
Ended up 3 inches shorter and 40 lbs lighter.
Can’t stand-up completely straight, but I can walk A-OK.
I plan to go to DC for the TAX Day doings!!!!
The idea of a Palin-Esther comparison is certainly not a new one:
http://newine.wordpress.com/2008/09/06/sarah-palin-an-esther-for-our-time/
It was apparently one of her former pastors who originally raised the point over a year ago.
I can’t help but to think it’s a regional thing, what with 3 other posters from Massachusetts, but I am open to any reason. It’s just very odd to me. I mean, what has she done to merit being called a loser?
“She is a weak person...”
I think you are the weak person, jveritas. You likely are also a bigot and a woman hater. Sarah Palin does not deserve your rabid tongue.
And if you were honest, you would tell us who you like, because now is the time to begin working for 2012 candidates.
Help me understand something
Is it because she is a woman?
or because she is Pro-Life, Pro-gun or Pro-Israel?
I simply cannot accept tactical resignation from office and handing the governorship over to someone with like policies as a basis for such fire-breathing animosity...
If you had gone to link and actually read the letter instead of assuming what was said, you would realize how idiotic your comment is
Thank G-d we have Sarah.
Was the resignation, obviously thought out and planned, not a sacrifice? Would we not love for our Resident to resign and take a job in Europe or Kenya? That would also be a sacrifice and very beneficial for the nation. :)
What b.s.
tactical resignationWhat an EXCELLENT way to frame her decision, WalterSkinner!
This isssue will not "go away" -- particularly as it becomes more clear that Governor Palin will be our next President -- and our TRUE opponents (on the LEFT) will take up this charge. So, jveritas (and others) are doing us a good service -- by forcing us to prepare (now) to defend her actions more thoroughly in the future.
..even if she doesn’t run in 2012, her popularity with the base is going to work like a nuclear reactor in fundraising for the 2010 mid-terms...
her popularity with the base is going to work like a nuclear reactor in fundraising for the 2010 mid-terms...
When is this nuclear reactor going to start putting out cash? Hell it’s only 60 days until the Primaries in Texas. That’s not a long time left to begin ginning all this cash and getting the proper people lined up to win the primary in order to be in the General election. In fact the last day to file for a spot on the primary ballot is this coming Monday, Jan. 4, 2010. The election is upon us.
And what is your evidence for that?
