I admire Sarah Palin. She gives me hope for the future, and reminds me of the great Jewish heroine Esther.
Humble, reverential and courageous. I hope she becomes the first female president of the United States. I have carefully observed the impressive onslaught of lies and hatred directed at her since she joined John McCain in his bid for the White House.
I will review just a few of her splendid accomplishments.
What I like most about Sarah Palin is her love for her husband and her children. I've long believed there is nothing nobler a person can do in this life than to do a good job raising their children; it appears that Todd and Sarah Palin have an excellent marriage and a great family.
That's no small success in this divorce-ravaged society.
My second favorite thing about Sarah Palin is her love for her country. I know that her political activism springs from a deep appreciation of our rich history and hope-filled future.etc..

Cultural? What do you mean? Seriously people why do you expect that every person on this forum or every conservative should support Palin?
There is a certain wisdom in waiting, because no one including Sarah has declared for president. That being said, it seems to me there is no reason to irrationally tear down a candidate that might become a strong one for us at this point.
Yes her inability to handle the hostile Alaska press and governance of one of the few states that doesn’t have a budget problem makes me want to run straight to the exit. If she has to resign due to pressure I’m sure that she will part the red sea and raise Ronald Reagan from the grave. Is this the part where someone post an article about not what she has done but how she makes people feel, cause that’s what is important these days. Blah
THAT’S right and that was my point.
A mere posting on her FaceBook page and Sarah commands headline news and changes the national conversation.
She literally energized townhalls and infuriated the democrat party and derailed healthcare from August until Christmas Eve and it’s not law yet, and the voters hate it by a huge and growing margin.
Plus, she’s right. Death Panels are in the legislation!
Insofar as handling the Alaska press, I presume you mean because she resigned?
What kind of reasoning is that?
WHAT?
Were you not here the day I explained that Sarah supporters are supposed to be called PALIN'S PATRIOTS?
I've given up caring what they say, unless it's outright vicious.
Ummm...HER position. Look I like Sarah Palin very much. I hope she runs because if she does, I will support her as much as I possibly can. Right now, I don’t see anyone else on the horizon that can command the kind of grassroots support she has.
If she DOESN’T run, I will be disappointed as will many others, but I don’t worship at some undefined altar of any politician.
I am looking for a good, true Conservative. I just hope to heaven that there is someone else in case Sarah doesn’t run. Right now, DeMint is the only one I can see with that kind of potential.
Do your own research of potential candidates and make up your own damn mind.
Nobody is going to hold your hand here.
Right. If Sarah doesn't run, a lot of us will be very disappointed and we will rally 'round a good conservative like Jim DeMint (if he runs) or Tom Coburn (if he runs).
BUT, on this very day, nobody is formally running for the 2012 nomination, so we're just lining up our support for Sarah and defending her from specious attacks from her detractors and from those who choose to attack her. She remains media subject number one.
The guys will be saddened.
Sounds like a dreadful accident --- was there a FR-THREAD around here for you when you were in the hospital?
How long did the surgery itself take, and how long were you hospitalized? Are you expected to make a full recovery?
May G-d bless you & heal you, onyx.
All the best to you, o. Hope you’re recovering well.
Happy New Year!
Thank you. I’ve been all healed for 6 months!
Happy, Healthy New Year to you, onedoug!!!
It’s the kind of reasoning that asks: What qualifies her to be POTUS? Obama’s resume was almost non existent. Her resume is almost as thin. I want to elect someone and have the press and public opinion hold that individual to their role as an executive. I don’t want to know about their personal struggles and what their favorite color is. I want someone who can manage solidly. The POTUS is not only the head of state, they are also the head of government. I would rather have a solid head of government than some darn governor who couldn’t handle the pressure. If she couldn’t handle the pressure of governing Alaska how is she going to handle the stress of leading the US? I want an establishment POTUS plain and simple.
She has 16 years of executive experience. 1st as City Manager, 2 terms as Mayor, Head of the National Guard, Head of the Oil & Gas Commission and Governor.
Obama executive experience + Biden executive experience + McCain executive experience = ZERO
Nice leftist talking points. You sound like every PDS inflicted leftist I've had to listen to. Btw, in her own words, it had nothing to do with the pressure of governing, and from what I see, she governed quite well. I guess you forgot to read her statement when she resigned didn't you?
And I'd like another name of someone who fits that profile of yours.
*I'm guessing Mitt Romney*
Mitch Daniels for starters.
And yes I did read her speech.
I like all of the red lines.

Congrats on your high intellectual barriers.
Btw, I doubt more than 1% of the country has heard of Mitch Daniels, or ever will, so you'd better come up with someone else soon.........
