Candidates for certification to teach in public schools in Texas are being told that they will be held accountable for any "heterosexist" leanings and must become agents working to change society, according to one candidate who was alarmed by the demands. The applicant, who requested anonymity for fear of repercussions, told WND part of the teachings on multiculturalism required him to read several online postings about the issue inside the education industry. One warns that "teachers and administrators must be held accountable for practices deemed to be racist, sexist, heterosexist, classist, or in any other way discriminatory." And a second warned that educators must not define education as the basic skills. "How do we create a better world? How do we do more than simply survive? As educators, we must help people to become committed to social change," the article demanded. The teacher candidate told WND the studies were mandated by the Region 10 service center for the public school educators' program. The center had a recording that it was closed throughout the holidays and officials could not be reached by WND.

You’d think there would be enough male and female teachers in Texas with big enough balls to say ‘Hell no’ and stop this crap from going on in the lone star state.

Texans always say things are different down there. I’d like to see the pushback trend start with them, hard. I mean it’s not like they’re Berkeley or SanFran.

It is a good thing that Texans elected a Republican governor.

Wake up people public schools are not good for your kids. Teachers are being indoctrinated even in places like Texas. Even in places like WV new teachers are being fed a bunch of leftist crap. School administrators are also homogenizing holidays and implementing pc rules right under the noses of parents in conservative communities. You can’t trust anyone associated with the Marxist educational establishment.

Time for the good people of Texas to prove the adage, “Don’t Mess With Texas” is still in effect.

Region 10 includes Dallas, Rockwall, Collin, Kauffman, Hunt, Grayson, Fannin, and Ellis counties. That’s an awfully conservative area, with the possible exception of the city of Dallas. I’ll bet you dollars to donuts that very few in the area are aware of this tripe that someone within this Educational Service Center has included in the training.

Remember, these are candidates for certification who have to read this mess. No one who already teaches is required to read this drek.

It's no accident that Bill Ayres was a professor of "education".

This is an Ayers-and-ilk inspired push, given that they feel they have overhead cover from the Administration.

Let's push back, *HARD*.

Recall that libs want to indoctrinate the young -- and recall the similar demands from the University of Minnesota education department.

But take heart -- Education majors have on average among the lowest SAT scores (correlates to lower IQ in a rough and ready way).

The real answer is to get Sarah into the White House, conservatives into Congress, and utterly defund the NEA and Dept. of Education.

Cheers!

The real answer is to get Sarah into the White House,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Has Sarah published anything regarding her position on education?

Also....The government K-12 schools are thoroughly infiltrated from top to bottom with Marxists. How will having Sarah in the White House correct this?

If conservatives really want to punch government K-12 education in the nose then **REMOVE** your children! Open tuition-free conservative schools. Organize conservative education foundations that will award private vouchers to children attending conservative private schools.

While I surely support pushing back this Marxist degradation of morality on every front ( and this includes the government schools) ultimately only closing down the government schools will make any difference.

The following is addressed to all conservatives:

Why is it so hard for conservatives to wrap their mind around the concept that government schools ARE SOCIALISM and ALWAYS have been! They were pushed by the Utopian Progressives of the 19th century. The training of teachers has always been under the control and influence of Utopian Progressives. ( John Dewey was only one of many.) And...There is good reason that Marxist Bill Ayers chose education for his life's work.

Just by attending children acclimate to accepting their neighbor's money to pay for a service their parents want for free. This has **ALWAYS** been the case from the very first government school in the mid-1800s!

Why are we surprised that after a mere one to three generations of socialist modeled-government K-12 schooling we had: The IRS, direct election of Senators, the feminist movement, the federal reserve, the failed League of Nations, FDR's New Deal, Johnson's Great Society, abandonment of the gold standard,... and now Obama! If children are comfortable with taking money from their neighbor for schooling why not everything else they want?

If we want to save this nation we MUST MUST MUST reach the young people of our nation. We MUST MUST MUST get them out of the socialist government schools and into private conservative educational settings.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If thirty years is a typical career in education, then in a short 10 years 1/3 of the teaching force will have been through this indoctrination. In 15 years 1/2 will have been indoctrinated. In 20 years 2 out of 3 teachers will have been marinated in this drivel.

The Marxists are patient, and always have been. They understand that by winning the hearts and minds of the children, they will win the world to Marxist fascism.

Yet...Conservatives continually, continually, continually fail to understand that government schools ARE SOCIALISM!!! Simply by attending children learn to be comfortable in accepting a service that the government forces their neighbor to pay. If their neighbor can be forced to pay for education, then why not 1,000 other socialist wants?

If we are going to save this nation conservatives MUST MUST MUST begin to understand that every government K-12 school in this nation MUST be shut down. And...Conservatives must dig deep into their pockets and contribute to conservative private schools and conservative voucher education foundations.

IF you read the remainder of my post --

she would not veto the conservative bills coming out of Congress to defund the Dept. of Education, and defund the NEA.

Hard to run a bureaucracy without money.

Cheers!

Only a small portion of a government school’s operating budget comes from the federal government.

While shutting down the Department of Education is a good thing, it will not do much to stop the Marxist march through the schools.

Anyway...Has Sarah published anything on her position regarding government K-12 schools?

nail on head

the majority and big majority have no clue what is going on and I bet even the media if they did know would not report this as one thing with the liberal and homosexual agenda is to keep it quiet.
the less the public know the better to get their agenda passed.

What is needed off Texans is to call their media outlets and ask why the hell they’re not reporting this and threaten to stop watching and buying their outlets.
