Whole thing is just about right on. And this ... a whole big bushel of food for thought ....

~~~~~~
"No, I don´t give a damn about so-called "real Conservatives" who carped on Bush for not being the cardboard cutout of a party platform.
These same people helped sink McCain and elect Obama."
Why I Miss George W. Bush
I could make fun of him and not be called a racist!
Go out and win voters to the idea of what America is about - freedom, freedom, freedom.... Go forth!
Once upon a time, the grownups were in charge. Miss those days.
I miss "W," but I hate these types of thread, for they will be nothing more than an opportunity for more Bush Bashing. That's what I'm tired of. The Bush Bashing.
Have a Happy New Year, Starwise.
The perfect is the enemy of the good. Those who held out for perfect gave us the TOTUS-reader. This administration is as much at their feet as the dimocrats.
You could make fun of him and he'd laugh with you.
Comfortable in his own skin. A real person, with a real sense of humor.
The bashers self-identify ... always good
to know. What they do and don’t stand for
is quite telling.
The positive threads about Pres. Bush will
continue .. more than ever now with these
incompetents at the wheel.
Happy New Year to you as well!
The entire commentary spoke to my heart.
I have long railed against the so called ‘conservative MOVEMENT’ that demanded purity from President Bush.
He wasn’t perfect, but then perfection belongs only to God.
He cared about me and my family and not ‘feeling my pain’ either.
Bless Laura and George Bush and their family.
George Bush was like a tough cop on the beat. You knew you won’t be getting away with any funny business while he is in charge. Obama has shown us exactly what would happen in Mayberry had Barney Fife been elevated to sheriff.
There are no grown ups in Washington right now.
You bet I miss them. I miss them all, but especially our President......the one who loved America and liberty.
God bless President Bush!
~~~~~~~~~~

Amen.. if I only had one nickel for every time
I’ve said that here. If you go by their bashing,
there’s sure a lot of FReepers who don’t grasp
that and surely must believe *they* are omniscient
and perfect then .. huh ?

;)

We're there really any conservative Republicans who actually sat-out the last election? Just askin'.

Seems to me that there were a heckuva lot of guilty, white suburbanites who threw caution to the wind & voted for Obama. I think that was the difference.

The positive threads about President Bush MUST continue.

They may bring out the haters who have no self control, see his name in a title with a clearly positive article, and cannot stop themselves from saying something stupid, but these kinds of articles need to be seen and read and reflected on.

The bashers do "self-identify." And what they reveal about themselves isn't pretty.

Thank you for this thread, STARWISE.
