What amazes me about Dave Barry is that everything he says is true -- he is not making this up -- and it's only the little twist at the end of each item that makes you realize just how silly, bizarre, or outright insane the actual true facts are.

I never tire of his humor, or the underlying sharply-barbed commentary...

This news shocks and outrages President Obama and members of Congress, who happen to be the very people who passed the legislation that authorized both the bailouts and the bonuses, but of course they did that during a crisis and thus had no time to find out what the hell they were voting for.
