I have been a law-abiding citizen all my life. I've always played by the rules. That is about to change. The early morning passage yesterday of the Senate health care bill requires every American to purchase health insurance. I refuse. I will not abide by this bill if it is passed into law. And if the government levies a fine, I will not pay it. I've had enough.
There comes a time when a line in the sand must be drawn. I've just drawn mine. I've listened to the outright lies our politicians have spouted in order to pass this legislation, which, by the way, has nothing to do with health care and everything to do with government control.
Democrats declared this bill was deficit neutral. Not so, says the Congressional Budget Office. Alas, this wasn't reported until minutes after the bill passed the Senate
Dems say this bill will allow an additional 30 million people to be covered while not affecting prices. Helloo....this goes contrary to the very basic law of supply and demand.
I've had enough of the back door deals, the outright bribes, the lies, the rush, and the absolute arrogance of our elected officials who patronizingly tell me with a straight face that black is white and if I questions their wisdom, why I must be a loony tea-bagger who doesn't believe in the rule of gravity. Enough!!

Fight fire with fire I always say
There is a way out for the author, Nancy Morgan. She can claim one of the proposed exemptions, most of them religion-based. Of course, she would then run the risk of landing in the ER with a long list of procedures and treatments that she is willing to undergo, but there's a trade-off for everything.
In mathematics, I believe they'd call that a 'proof'.
I guess you could say free mixed martial arts training too.
And think out side of the box, that’s what I always say :)
I’m not buying insurance. If they put me in prison for not paying the fine, when I get out I’m still not going to buy insurance.
Exercise!
I don't think voting works anymore. But I could be wrong.
Yep, they'll seize their tax refunds, and anything else they can seize. The government has become an evil entity, and unfortunately, most Americans just don't realize it yet.
Those bastards will find a way to get your money. They deduct social security and medicare from your salary, and there’s nothing you can do about it. They’ll deduct for health insurance if you’re working. Non workers will have no money to pay for the insurance so they’ll tax those who are working to buy insurance for the non-working.
I told my husband that I will comply and if I’m the first citizen that they attempt to imprision or levy, fine. I will fight this BS with every fiber of my being and I pray that there are some conservative attorneys out there somewhere that are going to take some of these cases pro bono because the government is going to attempt to destroy as many as possible. If the wealth is not redistributed willingly, they won’t have any qualms about squashing you to get what you have earned.
You would go to prison????
After they put you in, you think they will let you out??
If it gets that far, you better have a better plan than that, seriously.
They’ll let all the rif-raff out of prison. Middle aged, literate white guys are much better for employee morale. And if it wasn’t for the sex, being gay wouldn’t be all that bad. Give me a room full of 40 something women and one of 40 something men. Sure, spending an hour with the women has it’s short term influence over me, but a lifetime of seeing them in the larger total picture has me choosing the mancave instead. Women are very unsettled creatures. Their wants, choices, needs, and goals in life are at best amorphous and at worst, chaotic inconsistancies driven entirely by emotion, changing daily.
So what? The feds will simply take money from your personal accounts. It’s in the TARP Bill.
“Theyll garnish wages or take property etc etc etc.”
Ha Ha!! good luck with that!!!
To fight for our Liberty one has to decide up front that the loss of material wealth is the price you may have to pay !
The problem with this line of thought is that the same thing was said about Campaign Finance Reform, and the Supreme Court just rolled over.
I’ve been on disability since the end of 2007. Since then, I’ve been undergoing rehab in an effort to return to work.
But ever since Obama was elected, I’ve had this nagging feeling that maybe I’d be better off not trying to go back to work. This is so against the way I was brought up and so foreign to my personality. It would also be unfair to those who do toil to make a few dollars to provide for themselves and their families. But I can’t shake the feeling that working would be useless. What with so-called health care reform and perhaps the upcoming Cap & Tax and other programs, every dollar I make would be going to the government...and ultimately to some other shlub who just doesn’t feel like working. So why not be one of those shlubs and stay home?
Given that I was raised to work hard and make my own way in this world, I will probably still make every effort to go back to work, but I have decided that if it turns out I can’t work, I am not going to feel guilty about it. This is what Obzma and his henchmen will have wrought. People just won’t give a dammmm. Productivity will be reduced or eliminated. Then watch the economy go all to hell.
