White House unleashes vicious partsian attack over health care vote

In keeping with the spirit of the season, the administration's designated attack dog Dan Pfeiffer accused the GOP of standing in the way of "progress" and claims the Baucus bill accepted 150 Republican amendments:

"Contrary to what one Republican Senator said today, Democrats did not 'do the HELP Committee bill completely Democrat' without 'even ask[ing] one Republican opinion.' In fact, they accepted more than 150 Republican amendments.

In putting together the Finance Committee bill, Senator Baucus held months of bipartisan discussions. The Committee held a day-long bipartisan health care summit, convened three bipartisan roundtables, and even issued three bipartisan policy papers laying out the options from which the Committee chose to craft its bill..."

If Poufter’s idea of “progress” is rushing headlong over the edge of a very deep cliff with hard rocks at the bottom of it, then the health care bill is “progres” alright.

Ummm.didn't Harry Reid bring in a brand new bill on Saturday, just before the cloture vote on Sunday, that no Republican Senator had even seen before, which Redid had refused to show to any Republican senator beforehand?
And didn't Pelosi and Reid change the locks to the doors of the committee rooms and physically prevent Republican congressmen from even entering the rooms where the health care bill was being written in secret by a bunch of 0bama communists?
And didn't Reid get every single Republican amendment, including amendments to stop using tax payer dollars for abortion, voted down by the loony left Democrats?

THey won’t ‘need’ Plouffe & his e-mail hacking son/employee (remember Palin’s e-mails?) because now they have theis ‘incident’ in China. It’s like the movie with Pitt & Redford. Operation ‘dinner out’.

I also am trying to find the news written about 0bama when he was offline/unavailable, etc, also over a holiday..Easter? Memorial Day? Biden was in charge. There was no discussion about where 0bama really was or what he was doing. Does anyone remember this?

Finally, when things like Bachmann’s march on Congress was gaining steam, Hasan’s shootings took place. THings like this are now happening around the moments that something is going against 0bama & Co. Has anyone not noticed this?

Partisans attack each other; that's what good partisans do. I read Moran's article and the cited links, and I don't agree with the "vicious" description. It's all the usual spin and clinging to one's own set of "facts."

Who cares what they did in the finance committee with the Baucus bill? Reid threw out the Baucus bill, and the other committee bill, and substituted his own bill. All the votes on the Baucus bill were a waste of time.
