Are you just sitting there twiddling your thumbs? Biting your lip, worried over the health bill that just passed the senate? Think all hope is lost? Well get off your butt and act. Organize protests, send out e-mails, contact your representatives. Perhaps most important of all, contact your governor, and your state representatives, and ask them to take advantage of the 10th amendment, and block the health bill from taking effect in your state. Let Pelosi and Reid know that we won't just roll over and take this bitter pill.

Maybe because we have been doing this, protesting, marching on Washington, faxing and calling, all to be ignored. At some point you start to think it’s useless.
Jenny Granholm, Debbie Stabenow, Carl Levin, and Mark Schauer have already heard from me. I’ve stopped pretending to have respect for them.
Perhaps, but what would the outcome have been if our founding fathers took the same approach?
Time to start playing the game on our own terms and increase the pressure.
Well, maybe because we were too damn respectful and polite on 9/12 they came to the conclusion they have nothing to fear from us. I'm going back for 4/15/10. If anyone thinks as I do, it won't quite the same this time around.
I really believe if 1.5 million of us show up again *on a week day*, very belligerent and in your face, they will have second thoughts. It's time for real confrontation. I am up for it and I will be there to prove it. Will anyone else be there with me?
Time to ramp it up folks. Give it or get it. Take your choice.
Our Founding Fathers raised an army and started killing the people who obeyed the King.
Brashear, our governor here in KY, is a puke lib. New crisis weekly that can only be solved with new and higher taxes.
I’m pretty certain he don’t give a hoot what I think.
I’ve been slamming Baucus and Teser’s mailboxes with missives that I do not agree with their votes and I intend to do everything within my grasp to see they are not re-elected and I will make sure every Montanan like myself, feels the same way.
I disagree with those(Gingrich, Limbaugh etc.) who say the GOP doesn’t need a leader now. We can’t wait any longer as the democrats are sticking it to us at every turn. We cannot wait until 2010, or 2011 to get behind a candidate. Sarah Palin is ready. Let the offensive begin.
I’ve started to reach the conclusion I’m wasting my time. I’m just gonna vote these bastards out next November.
“increase the pressure”
Talking at this point does no good these a$$holes do not fear the general public!
We do not exist and our concearns are not important.
It is approaching the time to drag this bozo led circle jerk thing to a head and crack some of their heads!
I suspect that just showing them the same contempt they show for us would be rather intimidating to them. I explained my lack of respect for them and suggested that I wouldn’t be unhappy if they chose to wander into heavy traffic.
The time has come to re-instill fear in politicians.
2010 will be the year that this begins.
What I really want to see is a national figure calling on people (and businesses) to withhold their taxes and to openly revolt against the government. I'm not sure Sarah should do that -- I'd like to see her come in as a voice of reason to bring the country together.
But we really need loud voices on the national stage making it very clear that the country is coming apart.
I stopped believing in party labels the moment Chairman Steele told me and other Conservatives to stop criticizing Obama and his policies.
Al Baby is not happy with the the lumps of coal stuffed in our stockings by the whores in congress last night. Apologies to real whores who actually provide a valuable service.
I have done this and will continue to do so. Where I am it is an exercise in utter futility. Cardin, Mikulsi, and Rep. John Sarbanes would vote for this if every one of their constituents told them not to.
Cardin, in particular, is in his own fantasy world. He thinks he is saving the world. Telling him he is actually depriving people of health care would have no effect on him.
Just before the vote Monday, he cited the case of Deamonte Driver,a Maryland boy who died because his mother did not have the funds to pay a dentist to examine his abcessed tooth. The infection from the tooth spread to his brain.
It turns out that the child had been on Medicare but the mother’s renewal application was mailed to a homeless shelter from which she had moved. This is the reason she couldn’t get in to see the dentist.
So, Cardin is willing to use a clerical error (if that) committed under one government program to create another program costing trillions of dollars. When Medicaid and S-CHIP were passed the left told us that every child would receive medical care. Cardin now expects us to fall for this line again. The man is simply immune to argument.
Too bad my state isn’t a coal mining state else I’d have a lot of lumps to pass out.
