High Fashion -- put the clothing on either:

1) A woman who looks like a 14-year-old boy
OR
2) A woman who looks dead.

Gee, I wonder if the fashion industry is run by homosexuals?

Sooooooo....was she an Obama voter?
For that matter, was Ralphie?
Not that it matters. THere are no short-cuts or “disappointments” with Lauren’s clothing, everything
is very high quality.I love his shirts, and my wife is on high alert all summer and fall to look for them at local yard sales, where they are between 1 and 3 dollars, and are usually just laundered and starched, on hangers.

She would look considerably less absurd if she and others aspiring to that look would go to www.horsecountrylife.com and buy the real thing. There is nothing so graceful or beautiful as a lady in correct riding attire, and this baggy nonsense doesn’t flatter anyone. I do have some good Ralph hacking jackets for wear around the office or for errand-running on cool days, but it is the real, long hacking jackets with their close-cut waists and enticing flair that really draw the compliments.

You have to separate the mood created by photography from the reality. If a woman were actually to wear this rig out in public she’d be a laughingstock. But to wear the real Irish clothes on which the outfit is based makes her look lovely and romantic.
