The astounding thing to me is that so many people are stupid enough to believe it.

There are several otherwise intelligent people who fall for these things.
One reason is the absolute LACK of biblical literacy in the world. If you don’t know the Bible, things can be easily twisted.
The other main reason, imo, is that they “hook” you with one set of doctrines/beliefs, only for you to find out later that that was just the tip of the iceberg and there is a whole other set of doctrines and beliefs.
“Sometimes I wonder what ever happened to those two girls....”
Your attempts to lead them astray were far more successful than you could have imagined. They ran off and joined a lesbian terrorist organization.
Oh NOW you did it! She’ll have to contact the high muckie muck so he can tell her how to refute all that.
But, hey, Merry Christmas!

Wishing a JW Merry Christmas. LOL.
That’s a pretty informative post. Put that way, they really don’t seem all that looney. In fact, a lot of “mainstream” Christians probably believe many of those deviations from orthodox Christianity.
They do appear to at least get the biggie correct, namely this part: “The requirements for salvation are somewhat similar to those found in other conservative Protestant groups. It requires ‘taking in knowledge’ of God and Jesus Christ (John 17:3), repentance of sins, acceptance of the sacrificial atonement of Jesus, and conforming, as much as humanly possible, to the teachings of the Christ as stated in the Bible. Good works are an expected evidence of the members prior salvation but are not the source of salvation.”
Oh, and BTW to the original poster, I think the kitties are gonna have fun with you...

ROFL.
Of course...it was a drive by.
Yes, explain that to Jesus, who declared that ‘in three dyas he would rebuild this temple’.
AND KNOCKED ON THE SIGN!
########
The sign must have said knock here to see a nekid person. LOL just kidding
What, no Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch?
I mean I know the church is facing budget cuts and all...
Yet they deny the Trinity, and thus the Divinity of Christ. Not a good position to be in, IMHO.
;-)
That’s disturbing... LOL.
It stops looping at a count of 144,000.
They are the people who install the old style bearings!!
OK, in a reponse to another post about the JWs, I somehow missed the whole “Jesus is not part of the Trinity” thing. That’s a biggie. Kind of like THE biggie, in fact...
Nope, Submachinegun Pennance of Tarshish.
I wonder if the "badger, badger" thing does too...
