She has lived in Section 8 housing all but 1 of her 58 years. It was a legacy passed down from her parents who moved into Section 8 housing in 1949 when she was six months old.. She has passed the legacy down to her children, but fears they may have to get jobs to pay for the utilities and deposits.
She laments about her one year hiatus from the comfort of her Section 8 nirvana, 'I tried it for a year -- you know, working and all.. It's not anything I would want to go through again, or wish on anyone in my family, but I am damn proud of that year.'

They are outmanned and out gunned. To many in that community think they are Mike Tyson.
I guess we’ll be paying for their Obamacare. I don’t think they will be locked up for not opting into health insurance.

I used to rent section 8, I can tell you first hand, the lifers (and you could tell them within 5 minutes of less of meeting them) had far better toys and living conditions that I personally have.
We are paying for our own destruction.
Never trust a verification listed in an article or in an email. If you are not sure go to snopes or urbanlegends.com and self verify. A tagline at the end that says “I verified this from snopes and here’s what they said...” is a sure thing indicator that it is all fake. (but I can’t open the aticle so I will try later from home).
It’d be a danged shame if something bad were to happen to that section 8 housing unit. Just sayin’...
Before I buy a house, I always look for section 8 houses and stay far, far, away. Even a cheaper neighborhood is off limits because the landlord will eventually turn it into Section 8. There is no way to stop it. The section 8’ers I know shop constantly and eat out at Chili’s and other chains. They are almost all obese too.
Make it all into an SSD program. If you pay a certain amount in, you get a certain amount per month. I’m on it right now and I put in enough to recieve $770.00 a month and Medicaid. Mind you, I paid into it, so I’m not some mooch.
If you haven’t paid into the system, you don’t get a penny.
War is hard work. You can expect someone who is too lazy to get up every day for a job to be far, far too lazy to prosecute a successful revolution.
Guess who is known for hard work? Here’s a hint...they aren’t on the side of the leftists. Hehehe.

Okay.... Checked it a little more. Snopes says the big screen tv is real, but some of the commentary is satire. Snopes lists it as multiple sources.
