Watching the progression of Marxism in this country has been slow, painful, and not without the aquiescence of the People.
For years I have been asking anyone who could/would answer what would be the straw that breaks the camel's back. With each succeeding straw, the People groaned and bitched but did nothing and went on buying more reasons with their dollars to add to the excuses they already had.
Various excuses wafted up from the general population like a cloud. I need to keep my job. I need to feed my family.
When government took over the education of our children and gave over the reins to left wing unions, more bitching went out across the land, but how many people DID anything? How many people were too freaking lazy to homeschool or start schools that the government did not control? Precious few.
When the Supreme Court ordered bussing and forced integration, they never spent a nanosecond pondering the long term consequences of their actions. Instead of lifting the downtrodden up, they took the lowest possible standards and imposed them on ALL children to give the lesser educated children time to "catch up." Only they didn't. Instead of improving education for all, the lowered it for everyone.
Neighborhood schools disappeared and we now have kid factories for indoctrination, not education.
With the passage of time, the excuses began to stink to high heaven. I have to pay for my house. I need my new car. My kid needs a car. I need a big screen TV. I have to pay my credit cards.
Yes, abortion is murder, but as long as I don't do it myself, I can at least FEEL righteous.
No, there is no "Right" to die, but thanks to the Supreme Court, Terri Schiavo is dead and now they have voted this "right" in several states and it is spreading.
Yes, homosexuality is unnatural, but hey, what's wrong with civil unions? Yes, the act of homosexuality is wrong, but let's elect some so they will feel better about their ugly selves.
I don't want them teaching my children, but my children HAVE to go to school even if I don't like it.
Yes, I believe the 2nd Amendment means that the PEOPLE have a right to keep and bear arms, but it's okay if they have to be registered, licensed, and some weapons can be banned if the state says so.
Yes, they have taken GOD out of the public square, but hey, I can still teach my kids at home.
Well, your house and property were never yours to begin with. The government has taxed it and owns everything underneath you. The Supreme Court effectively took your right to own property away by allowing it to be seized by someone who will pay the government more for it. Try not paying your property taxes ONCE. You PAY the government to ALLOW you to work.
What good is your big screen TV if all you can watch is government programming, provided, of course, you still have a roof over your head and can afford the electricity?
I could go on and on, but you get it, I'm sure.
Everyone keeps asking how we stop this. What do we do now that every aspect of our lives are going to be controlled from prebirth to after death by the state?
This, while very carefully couching their words and taking great pains to say "peacefully."
So I have an idea. But, you see, it will take courage. It will take resolve. It will take a mighty will and you will not have your warm bed on a winter night to rest your bones in. You will not be able to grab a McDonald's cheeseburger at a whim. It will take organization. It will take millions, not thousands of people.
AND it will take the greatest hope and faith that the military we have supported through thick and through thin will not be disposed to line up against us.

Here it is.
We shut the government completely down. ALL of it, from Washington DC to the State Capitals, to County and City governments. WE are an army. We do not need weapons. We ARE weapons. A SEA of weapons. We storm and occupy every single buiding that government operates from. Women, children, and men.
The smartest way to do this is to form up women and children as a front line offensive. We take over the Congress, House and Senate, State government buildings, all their offices, and every other building where state or federal government business is conducted, including the courthouses, FBI, EPA, The FED, and IRS. NOTHING moves.
NOTHING.
They would probably shut off the power and water, so we have to be prepared for that. They can't empty their file cabinets or stop us from destroying their harddrives.
EVERYTHING they claim is theirs is NOT. It is OURS. Every single bit of it from the garbage they throw out every damn day to the petals on their freshly replaced flower arrangements. We OWN it and we have surely paid the price for it.
Nobody gets paid. Nobody gets checks in the mail or into their bank accounts. No one gets food stamps. No one gets NOTHING! The banks shut down. No one goes to trial. No one goes to work. No one goes to school. Planes don't fly and trains don't run. IF it be our will, we can destroy the entire infrastructure that composes government and send this country back to the days of the horse and buggy. We can ALSO choose NOT to and that will be our great bargain.
We DO NOT LEAVE!
And we say to the military, this is a revolution. It is our RiGHT to throw off tyranny under the US Constitution which you are sworn to uphold. You have not sworn an oath to protect and serve criminals and/or enemies of the People, whether foreign OR domestic.
If you choose to fight us, we will arm and you will force us to fight you, our brothers, sons, daughters, sisters, cousins, and grandchildren.
And that is how it begins.
The left will try to fight us and they can be vicious, but we outnumber them by a significant margin. They would lose.
No one says it would be easy...and we all just LOVE easy. And THAT is why we are where we are now. Easy is slavery. The time we have left is running out faster than anyone ever believed it would, but we have all seen it coming for over a century and done nothing. So how fast is fast? Now there is no choice. We fight, or this country and FREEDOM dies in our lifetime.
What legacy do we leave for our children? For the world?
Words are words. Angry words gets you nothing. Words do not work on an enemy who wants nothing but power. No Tyranny can stand in the face of all the people. People who have never had freedom do not and cannot understand it. I am NOT Chinese. I have not lived under totallitarian rule all of my life and I am not about to start now.
Every day that passes brings us that much closer to such a fate. How many more days do you think we have? Look what has happened to this country in a matter of a few months. Do you think this just started then, or don't you realize it has been an ongoing plan which is seeing its culmination now? ALL of this was already in place. All that was left to do was push the buttons.
Choose. Or it's over and We the People have surrendered.
Sadly, we CAN do this, but I don't think we will. It's too hard. I can see the white flags even I as type this because MAYBE tomorrow will be different. I see it clearly, so can you.
Why do you suppose it is that none of this major change stuff kicks in for another bunch of years? Because our parents and grandparents will be dead or dying and our children will be theirs. Our children will never know the freedom they were born with, and their children will never learn. YOU will be GONE and with you, everyone in the entire world loses the light we lit once upon a time.
Go tell it to someone else.
When government K-12 schools were first imposed by law on the people in the mid to late 1800s the citizens rioted. At least some understood 100 to 150 years ago that government schooling would lead to slavery.
From the first day a child attends government K-12 schools he learns that the government can take money from his neighbor to pay for a service his parents want tuition FREE. Do this year after year and the child is acclimated to socialism. If free school is OK then why not food, housing medicine, retirement, and thousand other socialist give aways and even free entertainment!
It is likely too late, but if we want to save this nation we as conservative must offer a conservative education to every child in this nation. And...WE MUST SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT K-12 schools. ALL OF THEM!
( Yes, I am shouting. It amazes me that conservative believe that have local SOCIALIST k-12 schools will somehow not teach children to be comfortable with SOCIALISM!
What does your promise of freedom offer to the lazy, immoral people who hate working and condone theft? Your call for hard work and responsibility will earn you two pounds of squat in the Obama-Age. All it takes is a blithe, "I paid into the system," or, "rich people can afford it," to justify a life slothful thievery.
Americans of all ages are bouncing down Europe's well-trodden path to bondage, with a death-grip on their entitlement checks.
GOD gave us a plan. In the Bible, it is known as Exodus. The Commandments were handed down there, and FREEDOM was ours for the choosing. We chose wrongly. We chose earthly kings instead of freedom. We have been paying the price for that ever since.
GOD will not redeem us FOR us. We MUST redeem ourselves first.
Most people won’t fight until they have nothing else to lose.... which, after the warp speed with which Zero and his thugs have destroyed the economy so far, shouldn’t be that much longer now. Maybe a year?
When people face the reality that they’ve lost their house, their job, any chance of getting another job and face being homeless and destitute, no longer able to provide for their families... they just might figure it’s time to stand up and fight. Better late than never. Only problem is, a starving army is not much of a threat (as the starving Confederate army proved many moons ago).
I’ve been saying all along if/when they pass this unconstitutional, anti-American freedom bs Hillary Deathcare bill, that is the signal to act. It’s right around the corner, folks.

No. I believe in the American people. The problem is that MOST of them do not know the truth, and do not understand the situation. Some of that is their own fault and some of that is not. Some are busy, and no one has yet told them about the media scam.
HOW TO INFORM THEM? They need to know what our country is all about, freedom, and what our Constitution means, and why it’s different from other countries, and what it will actually take to KEEP our freedom, because from day 1 Benjamin Franklin and the homeboys were seriously concerned we would not be able to.
But I do believe that if everyone KNEW, we could get this country back. It’s worth dying for, and if we all feel that way, then nobody will have to make that sacrifice. The government belongs to US.
Of course Im interested and appreciate the ping. Right now I’m emotionally drained. Spent the day consoling a dear friend whose husband died. And then to log onto FR and find the latest depressing news is a bit much to absorb.
How do we start? Do we email friends, relatives to organize? Do we have a *leader*?

It starts in the government school Pre-K and it started on the first day that first government K-12 schools opened in the mid-1800s!
If our children were educated in private conservative schools then our nation's college classrooms would be filled to the brim with intellectually sharp young adults. These young adults would be prepared to defend their faith and our nation's principles. Their Marxist professors would wither before their righteousness.

You are, in many ways, correct, but I think another big part of it is that people refuse to believe that it could all come crashing down.
We can’t inform the uninformed without taking action to shut down the agitprop. The brainwashing and slow boil process that this country has undergone for nearly a century has to be undone like a shock treatment to the system. And we cannot deliver that without taking over the system. It isn’t a catch 22. Most people know the truth when they hear it and see it.
This government has thrown us into chaos quite on purpose. It must be OUR purpose to focus attention where it is needed. The loss of our freedoms is included in whatever alternative they are offering. Nothing they have done enhances freedom in any way.
Government must be silenced for the people to be heard. There is no way around it.

You are right, wintertime, but as I said, while it was happening, we did nothing. Now there is no time left. While we waited for them to change, they changed an entire generation. We can’t wait anymore. State and government supported colleges need shut down right along with every other government entity.
I recently checked the rate of literacy of the county where we used to live. A full 20% of the people in that county can not read. The next 20% up can read but barely. This is a predominantly white population with little immigration on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
If the broadcast media isn’t reaching these people with the truth, a full 40% of that county is utterly incapable of getting their news from the Internet.I would bet my 401K that there are many areas of our nation with worse levels of literacy.
We now live in a red state. The literacy rates are somewhat better. But...The Marxists who control the government schools have set out to make certain that large swaths of our citizens can not read fluently.

I have written here several times recently about quitting Oath Keepers once I realized it was just another bunch of “let’s do this peacefully” morons - who are hoping, thereby, to attract active duty military and law enforcement officers to swear an oath to disobey orders to disarm and round up the citizenry when the time comes.
It took me a few months to figure out that AD military and LEOs weren’t joining, just vets and regular folks - turns out the AD folks were/are afraid to lose their security clearances, or ultimately their government jobs and government pensions, if they joined any organization that might in any way seem affiliated with “militias” or “extremists”.
And I thought to myself, if they think like that now, like birds in gilded cages, what use would they be when the time came actually disobey an order, by which they certainly WOULD lose their security clearances, jobs and government pensions, if not a whole lot more. So I quit Oath Keepers.
I thought to myself, where are the men and women ready to mutually pledge to each other their Lives, their Fortunes and their sacred Honor, as our Forefathers did? I am still looking.
I could sort of see a non-violent solution such as you describe, except that the Left will never stop their advance, and will undoubtedly force the issue at some point if need be. The question remains whether they will force it sooner or later, or whether, instead, they will simply do an end run around a placid, timid, weak populace, and obviate the need for confrontation altogether.
There are more and more people who feel like you do, who have had it with the undermining of our Constitutional republic. My take on it is that they are off the radar to some extent because they realize the dangerous error of forming large, well organized and publicized groups at this stage - which amount to nothing more than large targets for repression. But they are legion. And they are laying low, more or less, not from the fear of losing their gilded cage - they know it’s going to be gone soon anyway - but from strategic considerations. For now I believe they are simply keeping their powder dry. When it comes time to choose sides, they may be enough to get things rolling.
Even as they watch. This is very ugly. I can’t see a “peaceful” end to this. Either we start it, or they will force it by putting us on defense. And it won’t be much longer either.
