If the sun was a human, I would say it has a much better press agent than CO2, or that someone in the Sun's family was paying hush money to cover up its role in global warming. Why else would the Church of Global Warming Moonbats ignore all the evidence that changes in the Sun that are creating the fluctuations in global temperatures here on earth.
* Retired Award Winning NASA Atmospheric Scientist Dr. William W. Vaughan, recipient of the NASA Exceptional Service Medal, a former Division Chief of NASAs Marshall Space Flight Center and author of more than 100 refereed journal articles, monographs, and papers, also now points to natural causes of recent climate changes. The cause of these global changes is fundamentally due to the Sun and its effect on the Earth as it moves about in its orbit. Not from man-made activities,
* U.S Army Chief Scientist Dr. Bruce West dissented from climate fears in 2008. Westfaulted the UN IPCC for having "concluded that the contribution of solar variability to global warming is negligible." West argued argues many global warming researchers have not adequate modeled the Suns impact, according to a June 3, 2008 article. West believes the UN and others have "significantly over-estimated" the "anthropogenic contribution to global warming." West along with Nicola Scafetta of Duke University Physics Department published a March 2008 analysis showing the sun could account for as much as 69% of the increase in Earth's average temperature. There is no global warming but the unusual sun activity and volcanoes under the ice make it look like global warming to the idiots.
btt
A probe launched into the sun with tri-lithium should sort that out.
Load up that probe with Mann, Jones, the UN, and the rest of the IPCC/AGW crew so they can investigate...
Dr Rajendra K Pachauri began his career at Varanasi, the place where the most devout Hindus flock to swim in the Ganges (as an aside and preparatory to what I'm going to propose next).
Along the way he got involved in LGBT activities (wonder why that?) and he mixes his professional life with his felt need to pursue the Hindu philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, not that there's anything wrong with that, but with his religious based vegetarianism, you really can't think of this guy like you can a Western scientist.
He clearly mixes his religion with his work.
According to a number of Hindu sources, Surya, is the Sun god (in their belief system) and sometimes identified with Saturan in ancient Western belief systems.
I found that I can't dig through the Surya materials without running into repeated references to Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, and vice versa. There appears to be a curious inter-relatedness involved.
Unless someone can prove otherwise, I'm going to think the IPCC is directed by a guy who wants its reports to conform to his religious belief that the Sun-god is pure, immutable, and not involved in the affairs of men.
