kinda like the odumbo meltdown
Question: Does Tiger do good things with his money??I never hear about it if he does.
Propped up by roadies? That’s what I want to be—to be propped up by roadies.
His fame and money made it easy for him but I bet the foundation of the drive behind his behavior was laid before he hit the national scene.
This thing reminds me of the Anita Hill Clarence Thomas “affair”.
I remember Rush saying he had lunch with an older woman while this thing was going on and the woman said Anita was lying. Rush asked her how she knew. Her answer was simple and I paraphrase the best I can remember:
Where are the other women? Men like this do not do this with only one woman. If Anita were telling the truth we would have many more women coming forward, especially considering the politics involved.
Tiger is proving that woman’s position.
It looks like Tiger has been a lowlife for a looooong time. The only difference is now we all know about it.
Or a narcissistic sociopath...
While there's a tendency to say, "Why this irrational dumping on Tiger?" the fact is that the reason he made 900 million in endorsements is because of an irrational interest in him by mega-companies and fans. That sword cuts both ways.
The lesson of this, although many won't learn it, is that everything you see in the media is a story. It's massaged, manipulated and spun to produce the desired effect. The only thing we know about Woods for real is that he is an excellent golfer. The pulling back of the curtain reveals a very different individual, and it only took one story to unravel the entire facade.
There are plenty of wealthy successful men who don’t cheat on their wives. You don’t even have to be either to cheat, unless your spouse has you in lock-down. Most people don’t because they have higher standards than people like Tiger Woods even though lots of people are working hard to normalize infidelity.
...means he has a tough road to hoe
This saying drives me crazy. Who hoes a road? It's a tough ROW to hoe!
Do a search and replace on that article and replace “Tiger Woods” with “Bill Clinton” and see if there is one word that needs to be changed?
Oh yea, there is one change. Wood’s wife may walk out on him while old thunder thighs stayed hitched.
How could that nice clean cut young man be associated with such trollops and floosies?
Live by the media.
Die by the media.
I remember Tiger's dad saying something about Tiger running for president some day.... well that's done.
I think that the money, fame, and parasites helped Tiger do what he wanted and with no moral compass, he is going to do what felt good..... thinking with his small head and not his big head. Like a typical rich jock. I was more shocked that he got married in the first place. Swedish blonds are a dime a dozen and with his money he could have kept 5-6 in the bullpen at all time. He just screwed up, not the first and not the last.
This is a distraction, but like an 18 wheeler hitting a small car... you know it's bad, but you can't take your eyes off of it.
AS far as the wife and all the comments about how beautiful she is... no matter how good she looks, somebody, somewhere is tired of her sh#t..... like eating ice cream, steak and champagne 24 hours a day... eventually you get bored. So without a moral compass, you will cheat.
Worked for Clinton, so it should work for Tiger.
It may be too late for Tiger to fix this. I think he blew the opportunity.
If he would have quickly opened up to the media, claimed some sort of bogus psychological ailment such as “sex addiction” or alcoholism, checked into ‘rehab’, and went on Oprah to cry about it, he would have easily gotten away with it. He could have then been in a good position for a huge book deal.
He apparently has no clue when it comes to manipulating our morally/mentally bankrupt pop-culture and media to achieve a desired outcome. Now his life is ruined. Of course, he could go without ever swinging another golf club, and still be wealthy enough to live for the rest of his miserable life.
I’ve always thought he was a bit of a douchebag—wondered a bit about the ‘roids, etc. but of course, I didn’t know about this side of his life. He is a damn good golfer, but I always have rooted against him.
I first got turned off by his dad comparing him to Buddha and Gahndi after he won one tournament, and all the hypnotized jock sniffers talking about how they can’t wait for him to beat Jack’s record, like it’s something positive (you know, like the same asshats who salivated at the thought of a black president and voted for BO solely for that reason)
If anything, it may teach some people to grow the hell up—you can admire a guy’s golf game, and even think he’s an alright guy, without going overboard and fitting him for a halo-slobbering all the while like some teenage groupie.
Looks like Tiger, the Obama supporter, rode to many hoes.
