GOP lawmakers want Palin, King, Bachmann, Beck to shut up
The Examiner ^ | 12/11/2009 | Kevin Hall

There are very few brave politicians in the world. Most of them mince their words and tell you what they think you want to hear. Brave politicians are ones who speak their mind. They tell you exactly how they feel, consequences be damned. Iowa 5th District Congressman Steve King is among that rare breed.

I don’t believe a word of any of this.

The “entire article” is bunk? It speaks very highly of Steve King, as do you.

How can you call that “bunk”?

I am telling you that no one is trying to silence King. I know. I asked. I have no reason to believe that any of the others are trying to be silenced either. That is why I call this article bunk.

There are those on the Left who are trying to divide us. But mark my words: When you go to vote next November, you had better mark your ballot for EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN on your ballot. Otherwise, it’s two more years of Pelousy and Reid controlling Congress. It’s just that simple. Period!

WE ALSO WANT THE RINOs TO STFU.

Nah. Let the RINOs say their piece...so we know who is who in the primaries.

You are so right and I think I can speak for Congressman King that he would agree with you, too.

Exactly. Since I have been eligible to vote, I always vote conservative in the primary, Republican in the general, and aknowlege that a vote for a third party candiate (NY-23 excepted) is a throw away vote which helps the Democrats. It couldn’t be more clearer than that!

Hey, sorry to piss you all off, but I saw King and assumed they were talking about Peter King, RINO from LI....

Too bad you all are so perfect....so how hard was it to attain that level of perfection? And did you meet up with Obama on the way towards your level of purity?

You have hit the nail on the head. We have a great bunch of conservatives in congress and we need to send them reinforcements and sometimes that may mean sending someone who is less than ideal but they'll still count toward a much-needed majority.

How about Speaker of the House Congressman King? I could go for that. Can you imagine how that might change our country? BUT to get there, we have to vote a straight party ticket but it would be so worth it. We just look at it that we USED some RINOS to get what we want. I like that idea.

I have been saying it for weeks now- but have gotten very few takers

The first tea-parties started out with simple online posts

I have not gotten any nibbles

So, once again- WHO WANTS TO MARCH ON GOP HEADQUARTERS?

Michael Steel- OUT! Losings teams always start out firing the head coach. Why is this guy in charge in the first place?

Any GOP Office holder who has been around for 20 years - OUT!!! They've been in office while this probelm was created so they are part of the problem- not the solution

CLOSE PRIMARIES!!! No more liberal democraps picking our candidates

If we are going to reach out to anyone it should be the Conservative and Libertarian party voters- who too often hand the election to the democraps by drawing off Republican votes. AND NO DEMOCRAPS IN SHEEPS CLOTHING in this group allowed.

I saw an obvious phony liberal plant trying to throw votes away from Republicans with a filthy rant about how all the problems were because if “the blacks and the jews” he added a comment on how no real Republican could vote for them.

Now anyone with half a brain can tell this is a Democrap thinking all republicans are racist anyway, there is no way he will win an election with a rant like that, but they do think they can draw off Republican voters.

Perot did this in 1992 but thankfully Clintoon was such a boob that Gingrich was able to give us a conservative congress for the first time in 40 years.

Then the RINO’s took over the GOP and they are STILL THERE.

We need a GOP-CONSERVATIVE manifesto this election-

CUT FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN HALF (except for military)

‘DIVERSITY’ IS AN OBSTACLE TO BE OVERCOME- NOT A GOAL TO BE ACHIEVED

TERRORIST GROUPS CANNOT HIDE BEHIND RELIGIOUS FREEDOM. IF IT WALKS LIKE A TERRORIST AND TALKS LIKE A TERRORIST THEN LETS CALL IT A TERRORIST BEFORE IT BLOWS US UP LIKE A TERRORIST.

END ‘AFFIRMATIVE ACTION’ - IT ACHIEVED IT'S ULTIMATE GOAL- AN AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PRESIDENT

HUMAN STARVATION SHOULD NEVER OCCUR TO PROTECT A SPECIES OF FISH

what else?

HOLY CRAP what a dirtbag slimeball this author is!!! This article has NOTHING TO DO with the headline.

They took a poll of 65 GOP leaders. They asked them who they would like to shut up and 11% of them said Palin or King or someone... that's like 1 out of 9

The headline is the WORST KIND of journalistic deception

The headline could CORRECTLY (given the facts it presents) say: "89% of GOP DOES NOT WANT SARAH TO SHUT UP"

Exactly. Deal with the RINOs in the primary. Deal with the RATs in the general. Politics is really quite simple. I wonder people insist on making so difficult.

BTW saw a fantastic bumpersticker last night it read:

ATLAS IS SHRUGGING!
