One of my all-time favorite novels is Ken Kesey's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, later made into an Oscar-winning film. Set in an institution for psychological patients, Cuckoo's Nest was a cautionary tale about all institutions-schools, churches, businesses, government bureaucracies, etc., it dramatized the horrors of what can happen when those in charge hijack an institution and place their own ambitions and lust for power, prestige, and control above the welfare of the very people whom the institution was created to help.
The United Nations fits the cuckoo's nest paradigm perfectly. It is ostensibly dedicated to some of mankind's loftiest ideals. The U.N. Declaration of Human Rights affirms: "Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and security of person." "No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest." "No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his property." "Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion," etc.

Riiight. So did the great Constitution of the Soviet Union.
Interesting article. I googled “Rummel” and “democide,” and found it appallingly apt. I think that would definitely be the result of any global or even national anti-CO2 policies: vast numbers of people would die. Democide means not the targeted killing of ethnic groups (genocide) or political enemies (politicide), but is a term that covers the wholesale and intentional killing of a country’s population by its government.
Indeed it did. And it was a "living, breathing" document, too.
It might also mean the results of the mid-term elections. An enormous Demo-cide in the House, especially.
Another cuckoo was on Fox&Friends this morning.
Dana Perino was commenting. When asked about the globull warming emails, she responded ‘I think we can all agree that global warming does exist...’
“Dana Perino was commenting. When asked about the globull warming emails, she responded I think we can all agree that global warming does exist...”
I used to think she was alright but after hearing her spout that BS this morning ,I definitely changed my mind. Maybe she’s considering a run for public office.
If she is, she hasn't heard a thing about the Tea Parties.
She was on one of the Sunday shows talking that same bunk.
Someone should have said to here, “Dana baby, even if it exists there is no proof that a)it is caused by humans or b)the environmental wackos have any plan that will do anything to diminish it other than depressing all the economic and industrial activity of the world and then only minutely.”
But nobody said anything of the sort probably because they’re all RINOs and Dhimmis themselves or maybe they just think she’s just a blonde airhead.
