I may catch some flak for this, but I’m prepared. While I very much like Sarah Palin and what she represents, I do believe she made a serious error when answering a question concerning the issue of Barack Obama’s birth certificate.

The Secretary of State of Hawaii has certified with a COLB, the Obama was born in that state making him a verified US citizen. There was no such thing as a government issued Birth Certificate when the Constitution was written and ratified, therefore demanding this document has nothing to do with a COnstitutional mandate.

According to the birth certificate and COLB of John McCain, McCain was born in Colon Hospital, city of Colon, Panama.  While the BC states at the top that it is from the “Canal Zone”, the document also states that McCain was born in Colon Hospital, city of Colon.  The city of Colon and the hospital were not in the Canal Zone.

The common story you hear is that McCain was born in the Canal Zone, but these documents posted online do not testify to that.  Furthermore, there is no official document that has ever surfaced which states that McCain was born in the Canal Zone.

That’s not what she said. She did NOT verify the COLB. And she stated “the “original vital records” . More than one? Now why would THAT be?

If the cops ask to search your car and you refuse are you hiding something or are you demanding your Constitutional rights?

Now if your neighbor demands to search your car are you hiding something or just telling your neighbor to take a hike because he is a nosy jerk just trying to harass you.

Point being that the election process requires that the candidate demonstrate his/her eligibility to the proper authorities, in this case the Sec’s of State in 50 states. Every state, even Palin’s Alaska, placed Obama on the ballot for consideration by the electorate. He won the vote among the populace, in the electoral college and then the election was certified by the elected members of the legislature. Everything was exactly as outlined by the Constitution.

Also, the Constituion allows for only one means by which to remove the president and that is by Impeachment. No other means. Impeachment must be initiated by the Congress and no successful law suit in the courts can compel the Congress to Impeach.

Okay, so let’s say they are fakes. Then why would the Senate pass a resolution stating John McCain is NBC?

He is a hero, okay, but is it necessary to state a known American is NBC, while a blank slate gets no scrutiny.

Oh, and John was born in Colon, Panama, period.

Otherwise, he would have brought up the NBC issue to remove Barry O. from the race. But he couldn’t do that without risking further scrutiny of his own birth.

So I stand by my story. John McCain is not NBC and neither is Barry O.(they could have passed a resolution for Barry O., despite his divided citizenship at birth but they didn’t)

Palin was BRILLIANT!

Those that have questions about Obama’s natural born status are not some small “fringe”. Palin must and DID address the concerns of these people directly and masterfully.

Polls show 51% of Republicans don't even believe that Obama was born in the U.S! That percentage would be far, far higher if the poll has asked if the respondent had doubts.

With that many people in the U.S. asking questions there is NO POSSIBLE WAY for Palin to ignore the issue.

It seems that Mark Levine came to the same conclusion because Freepers have reported that he spent and full 5 minutes in support of Palin’s response and asking why doesn't Obama just PROVE that he is natural born.
