A friend of mine sent me this story of his time in the Marine Corps. Read through to the end, it’s a shocker.
What strikes me most is what he said as to where he grew up: Indonesia. He told me he wanted to be President of the US someday. I remember lightly smiling and commenting that maybe by the time he gets to be 40 or so, America will be ready for a Black man to be President and I wished him luck. We spoke of the racial tensions I saw at home while growing up and I asked him if he ever saw that overseas or since he returned back to Hawaii. I don’t remember his answer, but we spoke more of his time overseas and his thoughts on life and philosophy of government. He made some strange comments to me, it was obvious he never set foot for any time in the continental United States and I told him he better realize that he is making judgments about the United States when he himself never actually lived there. I told him, “Hawaii aint the United States!”
He also told me something that I never forgot, for it caused me to do some other things in an effort to be nice to him and possibly a favor. We spoke of where I had been and the world as I saw it. I told him I had been to Africa , Mombassa specifically, and he said to me abruptly, “I was born there”. I told him he is not eligible to be president if that was true, but I remembered he said his mom was an American, so, maybe it was okay.

This is a stupid story. Barry O. doesn’t look Mulatto. He looks black, plainly.

We are all a little frustrated lately but, this story just has some very obvious holes in it.
Does Barry O. look like a Mulatto? That is when my spidey senses went off the chart.
And that story from Barbara Nelson is just so much baloney as well.
Go ahead and flame me. You know my very strident stance on Barry O. but, I want to have unimpeachable evidence on this guy not some stories that don’t make sense.

I have a friend who is a high level Dem operative and big time supporter. A few months ago she just had to to tell me she met a woman went to school with Barry O. to which I replied “So?”. Somehow she thought would be interesting and I asked from that where are trying to go.
She said nothing more, so it is just a story.
You have been here a long time and I don’t doubt your memory. The story, however, just seems improbable.

No my post wasn’t sarcastic. Heck, I called my Dad after his 2004 speech and asked if he knew about this black Senator. He didn’t.
Dude looks black to me and yes his relatives look a shade a darker but, Barry O. looks black to me.
The person who wrote the original piece that was quoted in the email was our own Freeper RaceBannon ( the experience happened to him when he was a young man). He thinks it was Obama... and I’ve been around here long enough to know Race isn’t a bulls—ter. Time will tell - there are bound to be others out there with pieces of information about this issue. No man is an island.

Why would you meet a young man and out of the blue say, well you can’t be president? If the story were true, this soldier needs more than I think it was him,he was mulatto.
The only thing I can verify of this story is locals did hate outsiders in Hawaii. A friend born in Maui, moved to Hawaii and the locals constantly broke into her apartment because they thought she was not a local. One day she caught one and screamed I am a local, get out of here.
I agree the story is odd but if it were true it proves nothing.
Although Race remembers Zero, apparently no one who went to Columbia does. You would think there would be hundreds of Ivy League lib wieners claiming to have been his best buddy from back then...but no.
