Here is video of a local news report out of Washington about suspected police killer Maurice Clemmons. The report includes a brief phone interview with an Arkansas prosecutor - Larry Jegley - who said former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee "granted clemency to a disturbing number of people," including a person named Maurice Clemmons "who should not have been let out." This report says Clemmons was serving a 95-year sentence in Arkansas when released. Other reports have said it was a 60-year sentence.
The report says Gov. Huckabee has issued a statement which denounces the shootings, and places the blame on the criminal justice system. . . . (VIDEO)

places the blame on the criminal justice system. ... insisting that if police has just shot him the first time things would have never come to this...

To a disturbing number of people.
As well as, apparently, to a number of disturbed people.
Thus we see the futility of electing a flim flam feel good preacher man to an actual position of responsibility in our Republic.

seems to me that the criminal justice system worked just fine in this case, sentencing this punk to a 95 year sentence...the problem is squarely on the shoulders of Huckabee who decided to override the verdict and sentencing of the criminal justice system

R.I.P to any chance Huckabee had of getting the Republican nomination. With Romney falling like a rock due to his stupid health care program it is starting to look like a Palin vs. Pawlenty race for 2012. A battle of the P’s. I know where I stand - it’s Sarah all the way.

I don’t believe this is the 1st time a criminal he granted clemency to went out and committed more crimes.
This shows his judgment of character is seriously flawed.
He defends Obozo when Obozo is wrong too.
Wrong mindedness in an effort to prove to people he occupies lofty ground is downright dangerous.
Right Mike?

No matter how much Huckster sidesteps, if he had not given clemency to this convicted psychopath, 4 officers would not have been killed by this guy. Bye,bye Huckster.

I would hope, but then again, I thought the Wayne DuMond fiasco should have ended his career.

Thus we see the futility of electing a flim flam feel good preacher man to an actual position of responsibility in our Republic. Flim flam? Hardly. There are plenty of Christians that subordinate reason to compassion.
They usually vote Democrat, though.
