Here is video of Pastor Rick Warren on Meet the Press today, where he said candidly that he believes abortion has been a "holocaust" in America since the Roe vs. Wade decision, a "holocaust" that has resulted in in "46 million Americans not being here" and voting today. Warren engaged in a wide-ranging discussion with moderator David Gregory. Warren said he is "not pro-Life" but is "whole life," believing we need to not only protect the unborn, but be concerned about the poor and disadvantaged of our society as well.
Warren refused to grade President Obama's performance in office, but did say he personally believes the number one priority right now should be "jobs" - to get people back to work. . . . . (VIDEO)

It never stops at embryos. Even now, infanticidal partial birth abortionists (though rare) are treated like heroes for killing babies on demand.
I truly believe that one day it will be legal to kill a toddler and the worthless liberals will treat the toddler murderers as heroes.
Good for him. Where are our other religious leaders of ALL faiths on this?
46 million native born dead vs flooding the the USA with the world’s Flotsam and Jetsam in the past 40 years?
Wow...his reference to Obama’s need to create jobs was clearly a shot at this health care bill (ie, focus on the jobs, Dear Reader, not socialism).
Good for Rick Warren.
The irony is that was 46 million likely liberals in the medical waste incinerator.
I like his stance on Abortion But Rick Warren is a self serving bonehead who helped get Obama elected
I know of otherwise decent folk who say that this is a good thing since we don’t have to pay for welfare for these 46 million. Morally repugnant and blatantly racist since they assume (perhaps with good reason) most of the aborted babies were black.
They were replaced by 35 million illegal aliens- diversity, y`know
You’ve hit upon an OUTSTANDING parallel, one I don’t mind telling you I’ve expressed myself here on FR.
A kind of bewitching puzzle, when you look around and see so many currents of population and de-population swirling around us everyday, with all the political interests clamoring for their turn in the driver’s seat.
Talk about being stuck on stupid: the same people (the Left) who promoted Roe V. Wade as a way to control the black population (that’s what it was about, if anyone would like to do the real research), are the people who also promoted unbridled immigration to create populations of more ‘reliable’ people to take the place of those sacrificed at the altar of abortion. THe jury is still out
even on the practical level, as to whether this was any kind of improvement or merely a political expediency that recklessly tore our social fabric with big gaping rips, just for the political “hell of it”.
See my # 11. which was posted before I saw yours.
While I am glad he stated that abortion is a holocaust,I did not care for much else of what he said. He seemed uncommitted to the cultural war between good and evil by saying that he does not take sides. To me he is indicative of the problem with the Church today. They refuse to take sides on political issues when it is obvious that one side embraces Marxism and a culture of death. Like Clarence Thomas once said, we have to stop worrying about being liked, accepted or civil when dealing with this enemy of Life, the USA, and Christianity.
“46 million native born dead vs flooding the the USA with the worlds Flotsam and Jetsam in the past 40 years?”
Yep, 2 generations worth of Americans.........
Warren is the religious equivalent of Bob Dole. Changes what he says to meet the changing winds.
Warren also gave Clinton/Gore a free pass and televised them to all willow creek “churches” —— He DIDN’T EVEN MENTION GORE’s SUPPORT OF PARTIAL BIRTH.
BLOOD is on WARRENS hands, and he’s trying to clean it off.
Good for him! It needs to be said.
He allowed Obama to shirt the abortion issue (”Above his pay grade”) in that softball interview during the Presidential campaign. It's a little late to complain about abortion now.
A lot of Christians voted for Obama after that interview.
I'm tired of hearing about “social justice” in Church. It seems to be a catch word to mean that the government needs to take over and dispense “social justice”. It seems to be synonymous with socialism.
Most discussions about taking the life of a baby in the womb (referred to as "abortion") center around just one life. Statistics center around the total number of "abortions" that have been performed (the total number of babies deprived of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness).
What is never discussed is the almost geometric progression of numbers of lost citizens if one looks at the potential descendants of those young, unborn human beings.
Let me explain by using an actual case:
A young woman in 1862 had a baby boy out of wedlock, and then a baby girl two years later. The boy married, had 7 children by his first wife, who died, and 8 children by the second. The girl married and had 5 children. Of those 20 children, between them, there were born 120 children whose subsequent generations, by 2009, are in the thousands.
In this case, the original two children grew up to be outstanding community leaders, one a talented artist, and the other a dedicated church worker. Subsequent generations, numbering in the thousands, have made great contributions to their communities, state, and nation, with only one or two ever becoming lawbreakers--all because a young girl bravely gave birth to two children under tough circumstances, loved them, and brought them up honorably.
Point? When a young girl is advised to have an abortion to solve an unplanned and perhaps unwanted pregnancy, the world is not deprived of just one human being. It is deprived of all the generations that would follow, and the contributions which those thousands of souls might have made. And, yes, "souls" is another key point.
Already happens. Mom “sleeps” with the toddler and rolls over on them, smothering them.
Of course, where I am, it only happens in urban cities to really fat black moms. Sometimes more than once.
If you’re a fat black welfare mom you can kill your baby this way and nobody thinks twice about it.
People in this country view abortion like so many view global warming, as an established unchangeable fact.
