Fake Gold Bars in Fort Knox

Please someone tell me this is NOT true.

Fake gold bars! What's next?

It's one thing to counterfeit a twenty or hundred dollar bill. The amount of financial damage is usually limited to a specific region and only affects dozens of people and thousands of dollars. Secret Service agents quickly notify the banks on how to recognize these phony bills and retail outlets usually have procedures in place (such as special pens to test the paper) to stop their proliferation.

But what about gold? This is the most sacred of all commodities because it is thought to be the most trusted, reliable and valuable means of saving wealth.

A recent discovery -- in October of 2009 -- has been suppressed by the main stream media but has been circulating among the "big money" brokers and financial kingpins and is just now being revealed to the public. It involves the gold in Fort Knox -- the US Treasury gold -- that is the equity of our national wealth. In short, millions (with an "m") of gold bars are fake!

And I’ll bet those gold bars came from the New York Federal Reserve Bank and not Fort Knox. And those bars probably belonged to the Swiss to begin with.

Well then good luck trying to find a certified assay person to check out your 400oz gold bar... they are all busy as one armed paper hangers with a rectal itch.

How much sense does our Congress make?

On an average day, not much. But at their worst they aren't as silly as stories like this one are.

Gold velocity of sound = 1740 meters per second. Tungsten velocity of sound = 5174 meters per second. Ultrasound equipment can be used to test for counterfeited gold.

There is a Chinese tungsten smelter selling tungsten coin blanks...just plate them with gold and go. Dig a little and you will find their website

I think the bars at Knox are bullion shaped and larger than the flat, rectangular bars I'm talking about. At that time, the New York Fed. was said to hold more gold than was at Fort Knox. They held tours to ogle the gold.

As an equipment repairer the New York Fed. was one of my accounts but I never saw anything better than paper. :-)

I forgot to add that the New York Fed. held gold reserves for some foreign countries.

Well not exactly. There is thick enough layer of gold on the tungsten bars that it attenuates the UT and gives a false reading. Each Tungsten bar has about $50K of gold on it so it can be stamped with serial numbers and dates and not reveal the tungsten. Also as I understand the gold in Fort Knox WAS heavily 22 caret due to the fact it was made from melted coinage. Seems a lot of 22 caret gold has shown up in world markets.. which very likely could be from the Fort Knox switcho chango.

Then there is also the case of the Mr Smith who WAS in charge of the record keeping of gold who after a warrant was served on him for non-disclosed reasons...disappeared and has never been heard from again.

We have nothing to worry about though.. NONE of the people in the Clinton administration would have been involved in something like this...HA!

Thickness doesn't matter. Sound passes through anything but a vacuum. Tungsten will show up as a distinct blob.

All the gold is in Nigeria in a bank account belonging to Shaniqua Nguulumbuulu's late uncle who died under mysterious circumstances
She even emailed me a picture of it.

She wants to get it out of the country and she thinks maybe I can help...

Maybe the Vacuum is where the gold went. Right into a black hole.

Ah...yea...right.
The Chinese are too dumb to weigh the bars they bought.

And also gold bars are not 'regularly exchanged between countries'. If you would stop and think about it, the idea is absolutely idiotic. What, you think they back a truck up and load it with a couple of tons of gold bars and then sent it to Beijing?

I don't know if this exists anymore but years ago someone who should know told me there was a bank in New York where various countries were assigned locked bins for gold bullion. Countries could then make transfers of gold without any of the bars needing to leave the bank.

Then, there’s Tungsten. It weighs the same as gold ...

Specific gravity of gold - 19320 kg/cu m.
Specific gravity of tungsten - 19600 kg/cu m.
Not the same.
