'I won't let the b*****s out until they've done a deal': (EU climate change)

The leaders of the U.S., China and India should be 'shoved' into a room at next month's global warming summit - and not allowed out until they reach an agreement, according to John Prescott. Europe's climate change envoy revealed his controversial approach ahead of the UN Climate Change conference in Copenhagen in two weeks. Sixty state leaders will seek to thrash out the main points of a deal to follow the 1997 Kyoto Protocol, which aims to reduce countries' CO2 emissions. However, Labour's Mr Prescott, former deputy prime minister, tonight said it was imperative the U.S., China and India attend. During a Commons debate, Mr Prescott, Rapporteur for Climate Change for the Council of Europe, told MPs: ‘I'm looking forward to that debate but I hope I've got the key to the door and (will) not let the b*****s out until they've done a deal.’ However, the leaders of the three countries are so far not planning to travel to the talks.

They must go to Copenhagen because at the end of the day, like at Kyoto, the leaders decided, it becomes a political fix whether we like it or not,’ Mr Prescott said. ‘What's useful about that is that nobody wants to be accused of breaking the agreement.

Never mind that it’s all a SCAM.

From the British comments to some of these articles, they are just as outraged.

Earlier we'd all thought Prescott was planning to "kidnap" the folks from China, the US and India in some sort of allegorical sense, but after discovering the AGW/GW fraud, and reading what the planners say is acceptable behavior, someone probably ought to take this guy seriously ~ AND ARREST HIM!

At a minimum take away his keys.

These folks need to fear for their lives. I'm serious. It seems that this is the only thing that's going to turn them. Public opinion isn't doing it. Exposure of their fraud isn't doing it.

Pitchfork and torch time.

The real deadline for the Warmers get something passed is before the British Elections next year.

Once the Tories take over, the future of climate change legislation will diminish quite substantially.

AH! Now I understand why Bambi suddenly decided to go to Copenhagen. The groveling masochistic pervert heard that he could be this guy’s chief submissive bitch. He LIKES that sort of thing. Fire up Airforce 1 on the double!

Prescott’s a tosser. He was the representative from the area I lived in. Fattest bulimic I’ve ever seen.

I think it will start soon. Very early in 2010 it will become apparent that the economy is significantly worse than expected. Obama will push harder to the Left and something is going to snap on one side or the other.

I used to think that it might all go to smash after the 2010 elections (if the Democrats retained power). I know think the Democrats understand that they will not retain power after those elections -- and they will want the crisis to go up a few notches well before those elections happen.

They want the explosion, but they would prefer that we start it.

If 2010 doesn’t put a throttle on their plans,
I’m going to just have to assume that a violent “internal conflict” of some sort
is inevitable, and plan accordingly.

There is no way that American Patriots will allow the left to enslave them, and no way the left will leave people alone to live their own lives.

This dichotomy is irreconcilable.

Especially since the Tories promise for a referendum on the EU has become null and void.

A referendum on AGW would be a great substitute and a good election platform.... would make for some interesting debates.

"New World Order" government, here we come. It is so very scary here in Canada, the pro-warming federal and provincial governments seem to think we can afford to throw billions of our tax dollars at the U.N. to "save the planet". Just the penalty payments we have already agreed to via Kyoto Agreement alone are enough to cripple us. How can a government have its citizen's best interests in mind if it relinquishes control to some anonymous world order?

This Copenhagen meeting is the most dangerous effort ever mounted by Europeans against the Western Hemisphere.
