Spike Lee is right that God at least allowed Obama to become President. It's not like God was wringing His hands in heaven because He couldn't stop the Obama bandwagon. God is omnipotent.

Where Spike Lee is wrong is why did God allow Obama to become President. Lee would assert to bless our nation, I would assert to punish our nation. God puts kings in place to both bless and curse nations.
