The Powerline blog has done an excellent job of summarizing the issues surrounding the Climatgate/CRUtape Letters in the past couple of days. Since they reference WUWT in the most recent article, it seems relevant to also post here.
It seems Dr. Jones frets about the “weather, not climate” issue that we have been so often chastised for, whenever WUWT covers a record cold event, or a record snow event. We’ve seen quite a few of those lately. It seems CRU is concerned this “weather” may become a trend. Maybe they’ll just blame it on China and SO2 emissions. There’s an app for that. – Anthony

They want to ban SO2 because it is messing up their models.

That’s odd. It was only a few months ago that a string of articles came out touting SO2 as the cure for Glowbull Warming. They planned to pump tons of SO2 into the atmosphere. How they were going to outdo the output of a volcano wasn’t ever explained.

That language wasn’t taugh in any school I went to, but I graduated from college in 1958.

You'll find that the video documentary below, on Anthropogenic Global Warming, has done an excellent job of summarizing it, too -- in such a way that it will convince everyone you know around you... :-)
It’s one thing to gripe and complain about these things and disagree with it, but it’s quite another to convince your friends and neighbors and relatives and coworkers...
THEREFORE..., it’s also absolutely necessary for people to know the information in the following documentary. If there were simply one video that you could see and/or show people you know... this would be the one...
