RW set themselves up for this when they were not more wise when they produced and signed the contract with the freelance photographer. They should have known by then Sarah was a punching bag and that any image or content of her should be kept in their control and close to the vest. It is not as though Annie Liebowitz did the shoot and she demanded full image rights after 1st North American rights.

I am always amazed at the stupidity of legal contracts (and lawyers) that do not anticipate the future. After all that is what 95% of all legal contracts are protection from future incident.

Check the model’s release... if it says that the photo can only be used for Runner’s magazine then she can sue. And if I were her I would.

Even more offensive is the picture in the magazine’s article that has a Sarah Palin Barbie doll figure dressed like a sexualized school girl. Shame on you Newsweek for your deplorable tactics.

Regardless of the legal frufru surounding that picture- Sara Palin looks absolutely fabulous in it! I think that’s why so many feminists are angry with her, she’s smart, beautiful, and competent at what she does.

It would be more trouble than it'd be worth, and the media would have a field day with it. Still, worth looking into. Maybe the lawyers know some way of making this into an advantage.

The commentary on the cover is much worse than the picture.........in fact I have no problem with the picture.

Have you seen Newsweak lately? A paltry tissue papered 80 pages at most. It’s on it’s way out and good riddance.

The only copy I’ve seen recently was in a stack of mail on my doctor’s receptionists desk. I’m not sure how many pages were between the covers but it sure wasn’t many.

It would be nice if once every year she goes to court
and just lumps all the suits together. That would save
time, and of course she would win all of them.

I’m afraid if that’s what she’d signed she’d have told us that already.

Exactly, it’s her legs.
They’d kill their own grandmother to have legs like that.

That's rating the libs too highly. The liberals are planning to kill their own grandmothers just to have extra money to give to their union supporters. It doesn't get more disgusting than that.

Acturally, Liberals would kill their grandmothers for just getting sick under obamacare. Maybe it would be better to say that: Liberals would give away their favorite dildo for legs like that.;)
