HarperCollins has gone back to press on “Going Rogue,” so the number of shipped books will be well over 1.5. Prepaid orders on Amazon alone are over 80,000.
A second printing before the book has even hit store shelves. Seems quite impressive to me.

I see that it’s coming out on Kindle. I’ll be downloading first think Tuesday evening.

My sister told me she heard that in an interview with Michelle, that when the girls come in their room in the morning and hop into bed with them they make him leave because he stinks. So, I thought the tagline was appropriate.

In my first Presidential election, I voted for LBJ, but I had an excuse. I was in the USAF, politically naive and my who family had always voted Demo-Rat.
Then after a few years I somewhat smartened up and switched parties.
However, after Jerry Ford refused to abide by his sworn duty to uphold the Constitution (and abide by the Paris Peace Talk Accords) and acquiesced meekly to Congress cutting off all funding to S. Vietnam, I quit being a Republican and have been a Conservative Independent since.
During the Reagan years I still did not proclaim myself a Republican cuz there were still too many RINO's even then and don't think I ever will again.
Pre-paid orders are over 80,000 on Amazon alone. I’m wondering what the average order was, I know a lot of people ordered multiple copies, especially when the price went to $9. I’ll bet the total number of copies through Amazon by Monday night will be close to 150,000. Add to that orders taken by Barnes and Noble, Books a Million, Borders, WalMart, and Target, I’m guessing that combined they must equal to Amazon at least. Then, each individual Borders, Barnes and Noble, etc., are taking orders directly at their stores, most independent book stores are also taking orders, maybe another 50 to 100,000. We’re talking big numbers for a political memoir that hasn’t even been released yet.
Bill Clinton’s My Life, holds the record for 1st day sales, which includes pre-release orders, and cross counter sales on day of release, of 400,000. I’d be willing to bet that Going Rogue will come close to doubling that. I’d really like to see over 1 million copies sold on the first day, it would drive some in the MSM to the point of madness.
I ordered my the first day Amazon took orders. Just realized that this book is a great gift for my conservative girlfriends, so off to order more.
I want Sarah’s book to sell well, but I also think its a great way to get people to focus on their conservative ideals.
