There have been so many stories recently about Middle Eastern woman choosing to marry American men rather than Middle Eastern males. Is it because (for the most part) Middle Eastern men are egotistical, macho, disrespectful loudmouth types towards woman who do not view them as their partner, but rather just an arm piece of jewelery so to speak?

I haven’t seen this yet, but what I have seen on one occasion sort of floored me. Former schoolmate of kids, mom with a hijab. Last time I saw her the hijab was gone as well as the wedding ring. hmmm......
Get married and have a bunch of kids and show you are great husband and father, you'll attract women like flies.
LOL...which is why my dear wife is not always complimentary of her gender's ways.

Hey Brother, no disrespect, but what the hell are you talking about? How did you come to your conclusion?
I've lived and traveled in four Arab Muslim countries. Three years and counting. The only generalization I can confidently make about Arab, Arab Muslim and Pakistani Muslim matchups is that the preferred mate is usually one's first cousin -- and an ugly one at that. Also, a large percentage of Muslim marriages are arranged -- even in the US Muslim enclaves like Dearborn, Michigan.
Arab women digging American men? Haven't really seen much of that in the ME, nor in America. None of the Muslim Arab women I know would even consider marrying anyone who wasn't a Muslim -- their families would completely freak out. How many decent, American conservative men would be inclined to convert to Islam to bag an Arab wife?
Now I'm going to open myself up to abuse and derision by giving you my honest, un-pc, personal take on Arab and Arab Muslim women: Generally speaking (of course,there are exceptions) they are hyper-jealous, repressed, intellectually numb, nutty, terrible dressers and they have awful, tacky taste in just about everything. On the up side, they're good cooks, know how to keep a house clean and they love having babies.
Arab men?: Puerile, ignorant, boorish, supremacist and adolescent in their attitudes concerning just about everything. And to top things off, they are shameless, serial liars and incompetent in just about everything they do -- even in lying and cheating, the only things they can be counted on to do!.
And is it considered socially acceptable, like in Muslim countries?
Do Western courts dismiss all charges as absurdities, finding that the murderer was justified in the killing?

As far as Middle Eastern males, your spot on!
However, I am known many Middle Eastern woman who have fought through their own brainwashed upbring and have given others a chance to connect with them through communication and as such they have discovered that in many cases, the American male that is not a macho blowhard As!hole but rather an educated, kind gentleman is exactly what they are looking for.
Arranged marriages often are the case and very sad and unfortunate for the woman for sure. Having said that, the Middle Eastern woman that I have met many of them have chosen to even to thrown away by their family members to marry a kind, loving, intelligent American man rather than to be relegated to marrying a Middle Eastern so-called man, a Macho, Self Serving, Blowhard, Liar and basically have to live with that internal Lie for the rest of their lives.
Yeh I am a one of those women ! :)
