Silver is an excellent option but I would caution all new investors to steer clear. Putting a hedge against investments is one thing, expecting it to be Cracker Barrel is something else.

I agree. I would not pruchase sillver bullion, But silver companies in Canada, thise which stickpile metals and historically operate at a profit, are good , save investments. When they start to go down, one sells. The best cycle is about 40 days at this point.

A bow like this from a head of state demonstrates Nobama's subservience and inferiority to the emperor
President Reagan meets the Japanese emperor
VP Dick Cheney meets the Japanese emperor
President Nobama submits to the Japanese emperor

When will a reporter ask the obvious question?
"Mr. President, several months ago you were photographed bowing from the waist to the King of Saudi Arabia. Recently, you were photographed bowing from the waist again, this time to the Emperor of Japan. This was not the custom for previous U.S. presidents, nor has it been the custom for other world leaders to do so. Your critics say this deep bowing is an inappropriate gesture of inferiority. Would you like to explain this?"

The guy sitting below him also seems to be wearing a mask. Indeed he is. I missed that. I plead dry contacts. I'd just finished about a 4 hour drive, plus a 1/2 hour stop to eat, but the last 3 hours of the drive is what did the contacts in.

The bow is because the Saudi King and, now, the Emperor are shorter than Zero The Saudi King may be shorter, but he's not very much shorter.
But I've shaken hands with plenty of people shorter than myself, and not bowed to them.

Drudge Report now carrying this fiasco. If it picks up more in the USA it will then boomerang to the Japanese press and intensify.
Hot Air (through Michelle Malkin's site) is linking one of the Japanese tv news videos of the whole sordid Obama Tokyo incident yesterday that I posted earlier. One will count a total of 11 Obama bows including the ridiculously deep one, at the entryway, none of them reciprocated by Their Majesties.

Excellent, in a sad sort of way. The story needs to get out and there is just no way we can come out looking good on it.
I wonder if Rush will pick it up on Monday?

They will play him like a stradivarious all around Asia now, particularly in Beijing, and even where he is not going, in enemy Pyongyang. This is the true problem with this ill-educated moron being in the WH. As he does not "get" the bigger picture - the world's view of him, and hence this country, our Nation's image is irreparably tarnished. The Chinese, North Korean's and indeed, the entire world will see this obsequious bow and think - America is Weak.
God Save the Republic!

There is an entire department in State devoted to nothing BUT protocol and local customs.
Of course, you have to not be arrogant and ask for their input, and then you have to be humble enough to go along with what they recommend.
I attribute this to intentional arrogance (see how they treated Queen Elizabeth) and not naivete.
Every action he has taken overseas is made with the intention of diminishing our prestige abroad or insulting an ally.

Obama is appallingly lacking in world leadership knowhow. It is becoming obvious he thinks he is a private citizen of Indonesia or Kenya and NOT the POTUS.
An American President does not bow to anyone PERIOD.
Obama, since you consider yourself a private citizen of Indonesia and/or Kenya, I do not have to respect the office of POTUS, FUBO! You do not represent me abroad, you despicable excuse of a so called world leader. There is no excuse for your stupidity, your outright disrespect to the United States of America, your buffoonery, your MARXIST ways and support of MARXIST enemies world wide. You are more comfortable with the likes of Qaddafi, Chavez, etc, than you are with the ordinary American citizen.

It seems that he is either that stupid OR he considers himself a private citizen of Indonesia and/or Kenya and NOT the President of the United States of America.
