Hopefully, someone will summarize. I can’t stand listening to the man.
His words mean nothing to me....not gonna watch.
And I’d want to watch this .. because?
I’d be willing to read, but not watch.
His evil is too much for me to bear right now.
"In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction." - Barack Hussein Obama
THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH ABOUT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA'S UPBRINGING
I’m on the couch with swine flu. I don’t want to start barfing.
I didn’t watch or hear it, but read an advance transcript here:

Actually it’s a very good speech. Even the obligatory lip service to the concept of ‘diversity’ in the military is fairly brief and innocuous in an ‘E Pluribus Unum’ sort of way.
If only Obama’s actual policies were not a slap in the face to those soldiers by being an affront to the Constitution that both they and he swore to uphold.
That way you don't have to listen to him deliver the speech. It reads as an excellent speech.
no thanks.
I didn’t hear a single reference to terrorism or to an individual act of terrorism. Hasan was simply referred to only as a “gunman”, a reference that does not carry the same weight as “terrorist”.
Likewise, in Obama’s words, “It may be hard to comprehend the twisted logic that led to this tragedy. But this much we do know — no faith justifies these murderous and craven acts; no just and loving God looks upon them with favor. And for what he has done, we know that the killer will be met with justice — in this world, and the next” I find myself thinking he does not mean these words. How can he mean them for he is, by his own confession, a Muslim? Muslim’s are permitted to lie in executing jihad. Is this what he is doing?
It’s an excellent speech - one of his best. I saw one soldier in the audience start to cry then lowered his head. It was very moving. He obviously can’t go around delivering verdicts on the case when it’s still being investigated. That would be very wrong of any president to do. I’m baffled as to how some could be saying he should just declare it to be terrorism when that is now being investigated.
Why post this? Aren’t we suffering enough?
We didn’t vote for him, he isn’t our president.
Get it?
What are you doing on this website? You sound like you work for the O-Dung-a administration...
If you really consider this speech to be one of his best, then you are condemning every speech he has ever given in the past. Why not try being honest for a change?
Seriously though, was this speech better than the one where he promised to cut taxes for 95% of Americans? Or the one where he promised to post bills on the internet for five days before signing them? Or the one where he promised not to hire any lobbyists for his Administration? Or the one where he promised to close Guantanamo? Or the one where he promised to bring down the deficit? Come to think of it, your statement is just as dishonest as Obama's.

Don.t watch or listen to the chosen one because I know when his lips are moving it’s nothing but lies.
Some have drank too much political coolaid that they can't distinguish something good he does from the bad.
