Feds Dropped Investigation Into Hassan Because He Didn’t Seem Violent; Figured, I Guess, He Would Merely Provide Al Qaeda With Military Secrets and Troop Information and the Like, So No Bigs, Really
He wasn’t “likely to be violent.” Um, spectacularly wrong, as it turns out; but when spies contact the enemy, do we routinely drop investigations of them based on their propensity for violence?
Most spies aren’t violent. They do cause the deaths of Americans, however.
But this guy got a pass.
Pardon me if I believe like 75% of all Americans that was because it’s apparently now illegal and unconstitutional to investigate a Muslim for criminal activity. Could produce “backlash,” you see.
The lesson of 9/11, it turns out, is “take a wait and see attitude.” Once there are bodies on the ground, well, Detective, you’ve got your proof.
George W. Bush just emailed me, asking where the apologies from the media are for blaming him for eight years for failing to have “connected the dots.”
Chris Matthews: “It’s not a crime to call Al Qaeda, is it? I mean, where do you stop the guy?” Matthews spins on behalf of his wannabe-boyfriend Obama and the incompetents in the federal government.
Funny, seems to me that after 9/11, National Security Concern Trolls like Chris Matthews were pretty sure we should have rolled up the Mohammad Atta cell based upon pilot-training inquiries.
But now we have a guy in the army calling Al Qaeda on the phone and Chris Matthews is generally perplexed as to what we could have possibly have done to stop this.
Um, in any security position, having or attempting to have communications with the enemy is a crime, or at least a cashiering-level offense, if it’s not reported immediately.
Since this guy, presumably, did not report to his superior officers Hey guys, by the way, and apropos of nothing, I’ve been drunk-dialing al-Zarqawi, just f.y.i., right there is a reason to send him to the brig.

Hey! Take that back. The Marx Brothers fought for Freedonia.
I can reach down, and grab that .45 without leaving my computer chair... in fact I just did. :)
That should allow me to get to the AR Carbine and/or other long guns.
Do I really need a /s tag?
This is not meant as any disrespect for our serving men and women.
In the end, if the military continues to run itself in this current PC fashion, you would have to be an idiot if you would count on them to have your backs. Because they cannot trust who’s got their own backs if such clear and multiple warning signs were right there and they are more concerned about reporting this and getting into trouble than dealing with the obvious problem glaring them in their faces.
I can’t count on, and I can’t hang my family’s safety on, a military that is not functioning with common sense operating. I’ll take my chances without ‘em if a SHTF moment occurs.
The Politically Correctness disease is so contagious, it confounds even the most informed. Almost everyone has been contaminated in the way that they understand the world. When they want to call what is good bad and what is bad good, they have lost their vision.
There is a huge problem if in order to make the way clear for a certain group, we have to warp our ability to see reality. When we have to start messing with the way we know things really are, how can we make good decisions from that platform?
Nidal Malik Hasan is a perfect example. Even though the military had all of this evidence right in their faces, they refused to see it, they even promoted him and now many wonderful, patriotic, and most of all innocent, people are maimed or DEAD DEAD DEAD. Their pain, their loss is the price that we paid for political correctness.
PC is never profitable for those who are on the side of the honest and the good, for those who love freedom. Freedom can not exist in the midst of lies. PC is the big lie. All those who claim special rights above others are responsible for this big lie.
Those who want to excuse this behavior for some past hurt or injustice that Hasan experienced are making that past hurt more valuable then those who were killed and maimed.
We are supposedly over in Afghanistan to fight extreme Islam, so that they have the right to practice their extremism here in the name of freedom of religion/politics. No matter where is applied, isn’t PC great?
Dude, don’t jump to conclusions.
This Marine, (234 years old today), has great difficulty understanding the Army.
from link referenced in the article Major Muslim's Dawah Before Jihad
Major Muslim Hasan distributed Qurans and his card, calling infidels to convert to Islam before his jihad. This photograph taken on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 in Killeen, Texas, shows a copy of the Quran and a briefcase holding this business card that Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan gave to his neighbor a day before going on a shooting spree at the Fort Hood Army Base.
How many of Major Hasan’s “patient’s” went on to committed suicide?
Thanks!

I wonder if anyone ever thought about reporting him to the ACLU?
Of course, they don’t go after crazy jihadists only Bible holding Grannies.
