I got tired of the trail, and I guess “broke trail” to get out.

Some of the stuff is more expensive. I had to buy the cheaper stuff. It still was almost 100 bucks for the desk. I put it together right, but it started falling apart. When we had to move, I had two men in the family pick it up and kaboom. No more desk.

I suppose if I was a guy, and a Bob Villa type, I would know what to do to reinforce the stuff and maybe it wouldn’t have fallen apart. I do have to say, it was and is, completely symbolic of the last 6 years of my life. And I was looking at it, a broken, useless mess.

I have a really cute chest of drawers from Ikea, btw... the top 2 drawers open splendedly. I put things I don't need in the bottom drawer.

I see now, you have made it perfectly clear. What I felt when I was in Sweden a few years ago and thought was just an aloof shyness, was actually jealousy and a severe inferiority complex. I thought of Swedes as my equals, (silly me) and you thought we were superior and it bugged the hell out of you. So now nobama, in your eyes, has brought us down to your size so you finally feel free to attack. That is actually kind of cute, in a juvenile sort of way.

I live in Minnesota -- I'm Irish, my wife German -- and we have to put up with both the Swedes *and* Norwegians.(+)
