Video: Rush Limbaugh - Obama Is Destroying America

On Fox News Sunday yesterday, Chris Wallace interviewed Rush Limbaugh regarding what Obama has done for and to America. Rush proclaimed that President Obama is “destroying” the private sector in America, and that he “has to think it may be on purpose.” This extensive interview leaves few stones unturned regarding Limbaugh’s opinion of Obama’s objectives and their consequences for this country.

(good videos to save for future reference)

BTTT

I sometimes wonder if Obama and company are still shockable where Rush is concerned. He’s been consistent in this sort of message and they hate it. But when he goes on another program and says it to another crowd - are the Obamites freshly appalled anew because they expected him to back down by now? Are they getting used to his ‘evil’ presence or are there so many domestic enemies (Beck and others) that they race from broadcast to broadcast trying to ‘put out fires’.

You can bet there were heated discussions about this interview in the WH.

Thanks for the link. Rush is back.

As a long time listener (I started in 1988 on KFI when he began his national program), two things jump out. Rush is back from his pain killers addiction. He sounds as sharp as he did 20 years ago (and didn't only a few years ago). And the other was the unspoken 5-letter M-word. It's none of my or anyone else's business what went on between them, but I'm happy to see that he has gotten around whatever issues he had in that failed marriage.

There is a way to describe his US$400M contract - "money well-spent" (and earned).

To the best of my knowledge, there is only one time that Rush ever commanded his listeners to do something. It was in the closing seconds of his radio show on election day in 1994. He told people to get out and vote. Not "vote Republican", just "vote". (Too late for me, I had already voted).

I don't agree with everything he says. I have enormous respect for the man.

...”I have enormous respect for the man”...

Rush is prophetic in his political analysis of almost everything. I cannot remember many times when his predictions did not come about. He is a voice Americans had better listen to, especially young Americans, for they are going to reap this whirlwind of “change.”

Me too. When it comes to politics he's the best. When it comes to some social issues he comes across as arrogant and pontificating. Like the "sneeze into your elbow" thing. It makes sense and is practical yet he makes fun of it.

I think it’s because Rush is speaking to a different audience with Fox. Not all people who watch Fox listen to Rush’s radio show.

Heh. My disagreements with Rush are about as petty as that one.

Sneezing into your sleeve rather than your hand makes some sense in that it keeps germs off your hands that would be more likely to be spread around. The point Rush is trying to make is that we only need our brains to figure this out, not some unelected government official.

The govt. official is not the one who figured it out. I have been doing it for years and I don't remember where it came from. The govt. is only spreading the info yet Rush treats it like some sort of evil idea.

Petty? Not really. Whenever he talks about diet, for example, he seems to be advocating that people should eat whatever they want regardless of how fat they get. I know he's not but it sounds that way. He comes across as condescending and patronizing. It's either his way about those type of issues or he makes fun of people that clearly have some good ideas they simply want to pass along.

He should stick to politics. That's where he's the best. Although, Beck is starting to be pretty darn good too.

I go back to 96 when he was at his hard core best on the local station. He toned it down a bit when McLaughlin took him national.

Petty? Not really.

Substitute "minor" or "inconsequential". I did not intend any pejorative meaning.

Rush is like an acid test of (political) personality. The only people who really despise him are those who have never listened to him and unlike Obama, he comes off the same on transcript as he does on radio.

I have tremendous respect for the man even though I don't agree with him all the time. Heck, I don't even agree with things I do or say 100% the time. :-)

Oh, okay. Sorry if I got a little defensive.

I love Rush. Been listening for over twenty years. His forte is politics, though.

I will never stop listening to him. I just wish he would stay away from a few topics.
