As a Religious Studies major who happens to be Muslim, I recently signed up for classes related to my religion of choice: Islam. I thought that taking these classes would increase my knowledge of the religion and give me a much-needed break from the lies and propaganda that I see on the news. Man, was I wrong.

Why should they? They don't use Christians to teach classes about Christianity. Besides, would you want a completely non-critical viewpoint?
I don’t believe a word of it either. It sounds horribly contrived. I doubt there is a school out there that would present Islam in such a negative light. The converse is true. Islam is taught in a reverent manner, and it is Christianity that is presented as imperialistic and unfair. Although I guess the web host was hoping to start a conversation going with his fictional student, it is just not plausible in our politically correct world.
