I know Rowling is a flaming lib, but I always read a lot of conservative symbolism in the series.
Has Claire got some kind of itch on her backside ?
No slight against Rowling but perhaps McCaskill should read some headier books (you know the kind you’re usually introduced to in late middle or early high school) then she could put two and two together, come up with five and realize that far more frightening than Voldemort is the Big Brother/Mustapha Mond that lives in the White House.

Hey, no need to worry about Obama’s Czar Corps comrades. They report to cabinet members. Obama’s cabinet members. There was positively no problem with a commie like Van Jones being given power to dole out millions of bucks. Or other czars threatening ceos. Or other czars praising Hugo Chavez and saying there’s too much conservative talk radio. No problem at all. (smirk) And say McCaskill, you penny-ante stoogette, why do we need these czars at all if the cabinet members are supposed to be sufficient? Hmmm?
They simply can’t handle criticism.
This from the crew that gets their news from John Stewart on Comedy Central. THAT’S a joke!
Beck may not call himself a ‘journalist’ but he does ASK the questions, who, what, where, when, ( I can answer the WHY by myself, thank you. I understand history.)
Apparently, she didn’t even read the books.
She calls Beck “He who shall not be named”. The people in the book will not name him because he is so powerful that they are terrified of him.
Guess the Senator is scared of Beck.
Good. She should be.
I don’t recall earlier Congressmen comparing columnists to childrens’ book villians. Our government has jumped the shark and crapped the bed.
i don’t recall earlier congresscritters acting like children. so i guess it fits.
Ohh, I think you nailed it!

I am going to have to steal that. LOL
Comparing Beck to a fictional character is demonstrative of someone who is 3rd grade silly and watches the cartoon channel as a supplement to enhance her intellect.
Did I say it right?
Is this the same McCaskill who spit on a chair at MSNBC so a PUB would get sick - and told him that she did it?
The fat cells are choking off oxygen to her brain.
