Kills them faster. Pop over to Drudge and catch his newest banner headline. In fact, maybe I’ll write up a thread.
I’m sure we’ll discover a lot of new “surprises” as we hum along with the BO administration. No wonder ABC stores are seeing record sales.
Welcome to socialism. Some of us get it for free and some of us have to work for it. I grew up with this and know how evil it is.
I think headsets for the drunken homeless is a better idea. Then they can talk to themselves without looking foolish.
Wow! Just when I thought I had heard it all....
Obama Phones, Obama Money- who says you can’t buy a presidential election?
I can see it now- billions of ACORN dollars spent canvassing the neighborhoods... telling them they better get out and vote if they want the Obama Goodies to keep coming

Then they’re called and instructed how to vote. Where to turn up to carry a sign.
No stoner left unturned.
Big fat welfare momma down the road has a big screen TV, a new ATV for the commie brat kid, a new back porch and a garbage can filled with empty beer cans. Oh, did I mention my property taxes pays her rent?
Where my damn Obama phone at? I want the one wiff the "Jay Z" ringtone!
The Lifeline program is not funded from federal taxpayer dollars, but rather from contributions to the USF by telecommunications carriers collected in part from the Universal Service Charge billed to cell phone users.
I researched it and the subsidy is $10/mo. The big advantage for Tracfone (the corporate entity tied to this) is that you can add extra minutes. Right now after you discount the purchase of the phone less the initial minutes, a Tracfone like this probably costs about $10/mo. anyway (actually a little less since that is the phone I use). I wonder how many additional minutes get purchased by these “poor” people. That would be a real interesting statistic to get ahold of.
Apparently for a long time the government has been assisting in providing land lines for the poor.
You didn’t know about this? Up here in Mass they advertise this on TV. Must need to encourage more usage.
Both my wife and I are unemployed. I am sooooo tempted.
I checked out the link(s) and it does not appear to be “free” it is subsidized with a discount of around 20ish percent. So there is still a bill that needs to be paid, and a warning that if not paid, services will be terminated.
