Ah yes....the nation votes a black man into the highest office in the land and many expected to hear a little bit less of "white America hates the black man" kind of complaint. That wasn't the case with many saying "yeah but."

Maybe they were right....racism still is a big problem:

A university student has provoked a race storm after she was crowned as the first white winner of a beauty pageant at a predominantly black university.

Nikole Churchill claimed she was subjected to racial abuse after she won the pageant at Hampton University in Virginia.

She was so outraged that she wrote to U.S. President Barack Obama complaining of her treatment, saying: 'I feel as though you could relate to my situation'.

Hampton University is one of around 80 'black' universities in the U.S., initially founded to promote diversity and education among minorities.

The five judges crowned her over the nine other contestants - all of whom were black. She was the first white woman to win the title at the university.

But the backlash began almost immediately, with some of the audience walking out of the auditorium as the announcement was made. In a traditional winners' photograph, two of the black runners-up are seen scowling into the camera.

The next day Ms Churchill was heckled at a university football game. Previous winner Patrece Parson said she was 'very shocked' at the judge's choice of a white woman, adding: 'We've never had one before'.

Ya think the Sharpton's and Jackson's would of been in front of the nations camera's if the roles had been reversed?

Well, if this was a traditional beauty contest, it’s no wonder why she won. She’s the only one on stage who’s even vaguely attractive

Believe me, there are some gorgeous black women out there, but none of them made it to that stage.

Obama has become the racial continential divide in America. The race card is now being used more than less although it was the white vote that elected him.
