Obama-Savior No More

Citing faith in a “loving, non-violent God,” and pointing to “Jesus the peacemaker,” McLaren told Obama that “escalation” in Afghanistan is “not a change we can believe in.” Wanting to be constructive, McLaren instead urged the President to reroute the $65 billion designated for impending military operations towards an “aid and development fund.” He oddly suggested the fund could be further enlarged by adding to it the value of the “cost of American lives that would be lost there,” while admitting he’s uncertain how to create such an “inestimable” calculation. Such riches could “serve as start-up capital for a lot of new businesses and it could pave a lot of roads,” while training police officers and enhancing “social infrastructure.”

Christ counseled to turn the other cheek if slapped. Nowhere do I read that He wants me to let my Muslim neighbor beheadme, wrap my widow in a burka as a slave, and either forcibly teach my children nonsense about Mohammad, or kill them as suicide bombers to murder other Christians.

If they hold a gun, or hide a bomb...kill them. Let Jehovah sort it out. And if it happens again on American soil, make Mecca a green glass crater and put them all in camps. When American Muslims stood silent on 9/12, they all threw in with their Jehadi buddies. Their is no good thing that has come from them in a thousand years.

But what will be the cost dollar wise and human life wise if we pull out? The enemy WILL KNOW that the "cost" of war will be too high for us, and will declare it. (oops they already have)

We are in this war, whether we want it or not. The only alternative is do we keep it in Afghanistan and Iraq, or do we let reach the rest of the world and our own shores.

If that happens, it won't matter the money spend on "humanitarian" stuff.

Peace loving? I think not

Jesus was ‘peaceful’ (but firm in pointing out sin) to htose that loved Him, but to the enemies of God, He brought (and will breing) the sword of justice
