Hotair.com 2012 Poll: Sarah Palin Way Ahead Of Romney & Huckabee
Citizen Palin 4 President ^

Is it odd how anti-Palin polls pop-up all over the MSM? The few and infrequent polls that are less favorable to Governor Palin always seem to be big news. The reality is over 90% of the many 2012 polls show she is the front runner. Michelle Malkin’s Hotair.com offered the latest Poll on 2012 & Governor Palin with Sarah leading with 63%

Palin hasn’t even started yet, just wait until the book is released, she goes on the first stadium filling book tour in history, and she starts to campaign for candidates. The sky is the limit.

Palin/Beck, on a 3rd-party ticket.

What the hell, may as well dream big.

re: anti-Palin polls pop-up all over the MSM

Of course they do. Liberals, RINO’s, GOP-Lite, all of them are in panic mode! Even if I didn't happen to support her 100% I would take great glee in how she makes their heads explode!

You know you're on to something when the opponents spend more time trying to tear that something down than they do trying to build up their own product.

We ain't seen nothing yet. The attacks on her are going to be unlike anything we've ever seen in politics during our lifetime. Apparently by 1850 or 1870 standards the vitriol we see in today's political arena pale by comparison. I don't think we've seen anything, not even the BDS, that will be as down and dirty as attempts to get Sarah Palin out of the ring.

We need to know it's coming, and we need to be getting ready for it. It's going to be a tough time from now through the 2012 GOP convention.

I am convinced she is staying low right now hoping to get under some of their radar, but that won't work forever.

You won't see it talked about in the MSM, but I would wager good money right now that her book will be one of the most popular books ever published!

Yes, we should all ignore scientific surveys done by respected polling firms, since they don’t tell us what we want to hear.

And instead, we should treat as gospel an online survey that has no scientific basis whatsoever, because we’ve managed to use our amazing “internet powers” to acheive the outcome we want in the poll.

If I were a Palin Opponent, I would encourage you in this matter, because nothing is better than to have a deluded following for your opponents.

Palin, and her supporters, need to fix the problem of her negative public perception, if she is to have any chance of winning an election. The perception is real, the polls show you the magnitude of the problem, and are ignored at your own peril.

IN the REAL Hotair poll, they had Huckabee leading Romney and Palin.

If you think that the “real” red meat is the online unscientific poll, it is use who need to be fed.

Stop being deluded, and get to work fixing the problem instead of pretending it doesn’t exist.

Wouldn’t that be fun?

The MSM would have their knickers in such a bunch that the headlines alone would be worth it.

Palin always leads in the online polls. The so-called schientific polling she always runs behind. Although I would love to believe the online polls, I don’t trust them any more than I trust the so-called schientific ones. The truth is somewhere in between. I’m not sure how the “scientific” polls identify people as republicans. Do they just ask the person they call to self-identify as either a repub or dem, or do they actually do some research>? I suspect they just ask, and anyone could say “yeah, I’m a republican and I hate Palin.”

Another thing must be pointed out here. Gallup and Public Policy Polling are two outfits that are part of the dem party propaganda machine, as are NYT, WaPo, CNN, CBS polls. Gallup and PPP were particularly bad, PPP had 0bama winning by about 15 points on election day, and Gallup had him winning by about 11.

The reason why we are seeing an upsurge in these polls is the dems are trying to blunt sales of Palin’s book. They know if the book is a resounding success, outselling Bill Clinton’s record breaking memoir (appox 1.4 million) that will only fuel the buying frenzy even more, driving sales of her book through the roof, maybe to 2 or 3 million. They know also that the more people read her book, the more people she will win over. They dread the day that she goes on a booksigning tour, and 10 or 20,000 show up at every stop along the way. These signings will in effect, become Palin rallies.

Believe me, the dems are sweating out Nov 17th, and the weeks that follow. They will be pulling out all the stops, and Palin and her supporters shouldn’t hesitate to pull out all the stops on our side as well.

Although I agree with Beck, applaud his courage and think he is adorable, Palin/Bachmann would actually be more feasible ; )

There are many ways to skew a “scientific survey” including:

* What questions you ask;
* How you ask them (even the tone of a telephone interviewer's voice can influence how a question is answered);
* Whom you ask (i.e. how you sample);
* When you ask (e.g., expect low response-rates from working people, if you only call their residence during work hours);
* Who's asking (e.g., if a polling company has a reputation for a certain bias; that bias will influence who responds, and how they respond);
* The “background” information the pollster provides before asking a question;
* Sample size;
* etc. etc.

I completely agree with you regarding on-line, self-selected surveys (any self-selected survey, for that matter). They are useless (except, perhaps for media outlets interested in a straw poll of their readers motivated enough to click through).
