Hmm. I don’t know about this. Not a problem with him asking Keene questions, but it did seem to me to be crossing the line and badgering the “witness” when Ziegler continued to follow Keene around asking the same question even after he made it perfectly clear he had nothing further to say. True, Keene never addressed the question except to say that it had been dealt with before (or something to that effect) but still, what was to be gained by continuing to go after him except to tick off everyone there and get thrown out? The point had been made clearly enough early on. It just struck me that there was a lot of “let’s just keep pushing this for the sake of creating some buzz on the internet.”
John should have just pulled a “YOU LIE” ala Joe Wilson. And then pursued Keene relentlessly about Fed-Ex & Sarah Palin. Come to think of it, Ziegler IS our Joe Wilson. GO John!
Ziegler sure is a determined individual. Good stuff. Keene is a snake, based solely on his refusal to answer the questions.
