Who is Roy Masters?

In 1960 Roy Masters started America's first conservative talk radio show on KTYM in Los Angeles, California. Roy Masters and his 'Advice Line' radio program continue today as an institution on radio. In the 1970's, KTYM, at 1460 kilocycles on the AM band, was the home of several conservative radio shows, including Richard Cotten's Conservative Viewpoint, Ron Wright's Verite, Life Lines, sponsored by the Texas oil tycoon H. L. Hunt, and the Twentieth Century Reformation, a religious broadcast by Carl McIntire, who clamored for victory in Vietnam.
