In the 1970's, KTYM, at 1460 kilocycles on the AM band, was the home of several conservative radio shows, including Richard Cotten's Conservative Viewpoint, Ron Wright's Verite, Life Lines, sponsored by the Texas oil tycoon H. L. Hunt, and the Twentieth Century Reformation, a religious broadcast by Carl McIntire, who clamored for victory in Vietnam.
