But that is only a guess. Why has he spent so much money defending himself against lawsuits seeking his Long Form BC, elsewise? While I agree that it will not satisfy everyone (like the "Two Parent Native" people on this thread) many others will be satisfied and the controversy will shrink some more.

What long form Birth Certificate? no one has seen Obama’s. I have my own, I know what it says. Why does that even matter?
His father is British. Thats what matters. It matters so much that Obama’s DAUGHTERS could get British Citizenship because of their Grandfathers status as a British Subject.

But my guess too for why the situation remains as it is, currently BHO gains more benefits than detriments from the ‘Birther’ movement.
Maybe he really does have something to hide. I am rather skeptical that he wouldn't have anythign to hide. But I doubt it's the birth records. But it will sure help deflect attention from other issues later if they can say things like “Didn't the last bunch of kooks have their lead lawyer get fined and disbarred?”

There are some concepts that are so fundamentally understood by a society that they go unquestioned. No one thinks to define them because everyone knows them. Issues of citiznship were a BIG deal when the constitution was written. Everyone in that time period accepted the fact that to be Natural Born in ANY country meant you had to have two parentS (You get plural yet?) that were citizens and you had to be born on that soil. There were ZERO routs to Natural Born Citizenship. Both THEN and NOW. They understood that so fundamentally that they would refrence it, with out defining it specifically. Because everyone knoew it.
You know what sun is right? You have to define that? You know what down is? How about dead? How about it? Or are you going to do a Clinton and ask what the meaning of “is” is?

No, I’m not spewing crap, you and the others pretending that your bizzaro-world reading of the Constitution has any meaning to anyone, other than to yourselves, are the ones spewing crap.
In case you haven’t noticed the Original Intent of the framers has been a source of controversy since approximately the day after the document was signed.
Lately it is just one method among many that our many judges, up to including the Supreme Court, use to interepret the Constitution. There is the “strict constructionist” school, the “textualist” view, the “modern and evolving social norms” view, the “foreign courts influence” view, the “pnumbras and emmenations view” and varitions.
You PINHEADS are not going to carry the day in any court with your argument, because it is far far to narowly focused. All courts take more than just an obscure 18th century text into consideration. While you might discount utterly the votes of 100 million Americans, trust me, SCOTUS will not.
How many Birther cases have they turned down so far? Five? Six?

Everyone runs into clients from time to time who simply have an emotional fixation they are unable to get over and which precludes dealing with reality, legal or otherwise. It’s a sad thing, and you generally have to wish them the best and let them go.
Reading these threads is a valuable refresher in the capacity of the human mind to fixate, in intricate detail, on things it wants to be true. But, as they say, if wishes were horses, beggars would ride.

I wouldn’t worry about the picture. Hawaii has wierd walls all over. It is a Volcanic place and does have shifting earth and well, weird walls.
It doesn’t matter anyway. What does matter is that Obama is of British Decent and that makes Natural Born Citizenship status impossible.
