Hopefully this will be much bigger than the Mapes/Rather find. This could be the find of the century!

That’s probably part of the page default template.

Note the link to the actual archive was scrubbed... (wonder why...)

Maybe find an article before/after to see if source tags change

I’d love to see some more background on this article.

Was there a newsprint version?

Good one, Sven! It’s only a matter of time before FreeRepublic has this fraud’s scalp on its lodge pole. The problem to date has been, his hair is only about 3/8 of an inch long so there isn’t much purchase ...
As the first conservative said, `You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time. (Or those Freepers any time. Except for a handful of their resident horses-a$$e$. That reminds me, fire McClellan and hire Grant. Then bring me a Danish.)”

Yes, sorry. I figured that out and answered myself. I tried accessing the main page of the site by cutting off the last part of the URL in my address window, and was forbidden permission. But then I got in by searching for it with google.

Oh yes, it most certainly was. My hyper-liberal chicago co-worker told me point blank that barak obama would be our next president in august of 2004.

Kenyan newspaper
previously called East African Standard

English-language daily newspaper published in Nairobi, Kenya. It was established in Mombasa in 1902 as a weekly, the African Standard, by A.M. Jeevanjee, an Indian merchant. Jeevanjee hired an English editor-reporter, W.H. Tiller, to oversee the newspaper’s operations. In 1910 the paper became a daily, changed its name to the East African Standard, and moved to Nairobi, which was then fast developing as a commercial centre. It had already come under British ownership. In its early years the paper defended the interests of Kenya’s white settlers, but by the 1970s it had developed a more balanced approach to news reporting and had built a reputation for fine writing and technical excellence. After independence the paper retained the freedom to publish but was not allowed to criticize the government’s single political party or its leaders

If you go to the Sunday Standard/East African Standard/The Standard web site and search the archives, and then click on read more under -News Headlines- there are ads sponsered by Google that say, “Where was Obama Born?
The President was Born in Hawaii. Don’t Believe the Lies. Learn More! That takes you to a page showing his COLB. What the hell is going on. Every archive page has this link, sometimes twice.
