Perhaps those “close” to Romney don’t have a clue about how angry the average conservative American is. This country is headed for another civil uprising and the current batch of politicians and media will be shocked by the ferocity of it. There is a politcal tsunami building.

If Corn is so smart why isn’t Romney our president?

I don’t understand politics and even less the mooching politicians. That is 90% of the problem as they don’t understand us either. Except as a feedbag.

“Republican “Close” to Romney”

Odd, Corn doesn’t use the source’s name. That’s because....

He’s making this $h!t up as he goes!

Among the many abject, shameless political whores in the world; Corn strikes me as one of the glittering jewels of shamelessness!

I can do without the Romney understanding of politics, myself.

A canned, slick image and presentation, that can be changed and is changed expediently, with no more compunction than a teenager trying on "cool" personae, is not what I'm looking for, at all.

David Corn, one of America’s greatest writers,

Should I look for this guy's book on B&N and Amazon? Perhaps in the #1 spots? Oh, never mind.

These people are making SO easy for me to support Sarah Palin to the max. Nothing worse than not having a good handle on who the guys are and who the bad guys are. In this case the bad guys are RINO’s, and bless their heart they keep standing up and identifying themselves! Sure takes the guess work out of my choice!

Thank you, guys. You've saved us true conservative a whole lot of work!

The usual disclaimer: Of course SaraCuda could disappoint us at some point, and turn out to be nothing more than another flash in the pan. I don't think so, but I am quite alert to the possibility, and to any sign of the sheen wearing off!

I love Sarah Palin to death. Her values are essentially mine. She is a fantastic spokesman for conservative issues, and she will get even better. I wish more Republicans had her moral and political convictions. I think what the conservative side misses desperately is someone who can articulate and be guided by sound moral and conservative principles, like Reagan did. BUT . . .

I am afraid she has already been “Dan Quayled” by the media and the left. Even unfounded as most of it was, it is almost impossible to overcome the public ridicule that she had to endure. As much as I like her, I don’t think she can ever be a successful presidential candidate. But we need her voice pounding the left with body blows. In some very important ways, I think she retains some credibility that can help beat the Left, some of it gained by being a woman who endured the rabid, unmerciless attack from the left. I have no problem with a woman being President. I just don’t think it is her highest and best use because I don’t think she can win with all the obstacles she will have to overcome. . . IMHO.

... Say Palin Just Does Not Understand Politics...

Given the current abomination that "politics" has become, most of us normal U.S. citizens fall into that camp. That's kind of why we like her. She thinks like us. Duh! The RNC types *still* don't get it ...

The article makes this conclusion about David Corn and his article:

What I find puzzling is that someone can write such a shoddy and poorly researched piece of so called journalism and get paid for it. It’s almost at the level of the puerile anti-Palin rantings of Geoffrey Dunn at the Huffington Post. But then the article is only the most recent in a long line of hit pieces usually penned by Washington hacks predicting the Governors political demise because she doesn’t conform to the conventions of political conduct as laid down by the Beltway pundits.

Here’s a tip for David Corn – why not break the mould and research – yes, that’s RESEARCH, as in using shoe leather – for a piece on why the lady remains a key political figure by defying the accepted conventions of political conduct. After all, David, that shouldn’t be too big a task for the man who got involved with Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame....

So, the article itself condemns Mr. Corn's article as a piece of puerile crap, chock full of lies but the un-sourced quote about an un-named, allegedly pro-Romney Republican from this very same article has to be the true? This is the standard of evidence here? No proof needed. Heck, no evidence needed. Romney is personally guilty. The Liberal author says so?
