I honestly think his trip hurt our chances. These IOC officials are a very self-important bunch and they don’t take kindly to having someone who actually is important (and no matter how much you hate Obama he IS the Presidnt of the US....) ride into town and act like he’s taking over. I suspect his trip lost us a bunch of votes......though that’s fine with me cause I’ve got no use for the Olympics.......

What makes any rational person believe he’s going to fair any better as either a CinC, or in diplomatic brinkmanship with the Russians, Chinese, N Koreans, Venezuelans, Tongans, Vanutuans, Lichtenstinians, et. al.
