He’s right. I own a small business and I can’t get an increase on my credit line or a new credit line to help with my cash flow problems.
I will be surprised if overall christmas spending isn’t higher than in 2004. IT’s just a guess, and that would be the worst in 5 years, but a far cry from the worst in 40 years.
I can’t imagine how, under any scenario short of a nuclear attack, we wouldn’t spend more money on christmas this year than we did in 1969 (40 years ago).
