Here is video of the Wall Street Journal Report talking about Republican candidates leading in two Governors races in states Obama carried easily in 2008.

In New Jersey, Republican Chris Christie leads incumbent Democrat Gov. Jon Corzine by four points, and Republican Bob McDonnell leads Democrat Creigh Deeds by seven points in Virginia (Real Clear Politics Averages).

They point out that the last time the GOP won both of these Governorships was 1993, just ahead of the GOP landslide in 1994 that took control of Congress. . . . (VIDEO)

And I am sure both the Dems are burning up the WH phones in an attempt to get Obie to come campaign for them....

The GOP hasn’t won anything yet. If, by some miracle, the electorate decides to trust the GOP with anything again in my lifetime, what will the GOP do with that trust? These boobs squandered it the last time.

Prediction: Corzine will pull this out with the help of ACORN and voter fraud throughout the state. Deeds will lose by 5,000 votes but will demand a recount. The courts will agree and 6,000 previously uncounted votes in his favor will swing the election to him.

I'm just using some recent elections as a basis for my predictions...

Thats what I fear.

I think the GOP will take the VA race, but I have a hard time seeing NJ go right.Just way too many filthy libs that populate the Garden State...(my birthplace)

Yes, we shouldn’t be surprised if Corzine wins. With his vast money resources he is no doubt pulling out all the stops right now.

I totally agree re: NJ. My prediction is by the 15th of Oct, Corzine will pull even and Christie will never lead again... On election day I don’t even think the NJ vote will be that close. NJ voters like to send signals they’re dissatisfied with the dems, and we hear over and over how Corzine is “hated.” He may be an SOB, but he’s still “their” SOB, and they’ll decide they don’t hate him enough to send him home.

Actually Creigh Deeds wants nothing to do with Svengali and is avoiding him at all costs.

I predict Obie will interject himself into the race anyway.

I hope you are wrong but who knows with NJ. People are stuck on stupid. I gave up on them when the returned LOUSE-enberg to the Senate in 2002, with the memories of the attack on American still fresh and the senator saying he opposed the death penalty for terrorists! Nice going, NJ.

If Corzine manages to win even with an approval rating of 39% then I say the national GOP should just give up and not waste anymore $$ there. They are a lost cause.

I am more confident about VA. Deeds does not seem that popular even among Dems. 0’s approval ratings in that state are well below 50%. If McDonnell wins it will be a huge gain in a state 0 won rather easily last year. But of course they will spin it as no big deal.

We lose both of these. Count on it.

Until the GOP puts some effort into countering the fraud, we will continue to lose these close elections.

Massive voter fraud will now keep the 'rats in power for decades. Add the SCOTUS will get a socialist majority, no hope in sight.

My question - what will it take for Americans to revolt and take back America?

The problem with nj besides corruption is that half the state works FOR the state. Most towns are run buy Dems , the teachers union are serious Dems etc.
Even if the GOP wins these elections they usually do nothing for US , they don’t fight , they rarely call out the Dem party on it’s lies . So ????

Voter fraud is the reason that Corzine will win. Hudson and Essex Counties will manufacture the votes he needs to win.

It will be interesting to see how involved Obama gets in VA. Deeds said during his recent debate with McDonnell that he welcomes the support of Obama (who appeared with Deeds in McLean at a fundraiser last month) and that he supports the President on most issues.

I believe the Dems will start pouring in large amounts of money. If Deeds and Obama appear together in NoVa as well as Richmond, it could be an indication that Deeds' internals show Obama to be an asset. If Obama does not campaign with Deeds, then it would indicate that Obama is not seen as an asset. Since about 20% of VA is black, Obama could be key to getting voter turnout. You can bet that the Organizing for Obama machine will be gearing up to help the Dems in VA and NJ.

Biden will be campaigning for Deeds at least on one occasion. Webb and Warner have also indicated that they will be out on the hustings. This is going to be a close race.

They will squander it again. If the GOP wins these two races, their RINO inner circle will say, "See, the voters are ticked off at the Dems so bad they'll vote for us. Why should we change?"

I agree..

If Corzine wins with approval ratings that low, you know something is wrong there.

Leave NJ to wallow in its own mess and let them reap what they sow.
