Rut Ro....
There was a time when all this coulda been chalked up to bureaucratic incompetency.
But that’s fading fast.... it’s almost to the level of being conspiratorial now!
When was the last time anybody was hanged for treason? Anyone know?
Been a long time. We're probably going to have to buy some new rope, but what the hell, rope ain't that expensive.
Hawaii must be unique in the way it maintains certain records. I used to work at the Oklahoma DOH as did my wife...she actually worked in the Vital Records department there. In Oklahoma only birth and death records are maintained by the Vital Records Division of the State Department of Health.
Marraige and divorce records are kept by the various counties in Oklahoma. Each county has its own courts where civil matters like this are handled and the court proceedings maintained. I guess Hawaii isn’t big enough to have “County” courts.
Does anyone know of another state where Marraige and Divorce records are kept by the State Dept. of Health?
I don’t doubt Hawaii’s uniqueness, I just find it odd. Do the other Islands, besides Oahu, have courts to do civil matters like marraige and divorce?
I’m sorry I don’t know. HI seems to have
contradicted its own website information.
Oh well .. that’s probably already changed.
Could Okubo and Obama be members of the same Kenyan tribe?
Time for new ROPE? on a bumper sticker? Are you freaking kidding me? Think about it.
How about adding some context here?
Do the divorce records of the parents of Obama contain info about their children that could be used in the NBC challenge?
Is this new language?

I’ll bet it is ... I’d send it to Donofrio
and Miss Tickly. So, now they’re using
legalese to quash inquiry.
You’re right, I was thinking the treason thing, not the lynching thing.
Might upset a few of the locals, eh?

Leo,
How about using the research team from UCONN UNDEAD REVOLUTION to invoke [§338-18] (g) (5):
An individual employed, endorsed, or sponsored by a governmental, private, social, or educational agency or organization who seeks to confirm information about a vital event relating to any such record in preparation of reports or publications by the agency or organization for research or educational purposes.[Ed. The full provision reads:
(g) The department shall not issue a verification in lieu of a certified copy of any such record, or any part thereof, unless it is satisfied that the applicant requesting a verification is:
An individual employed, endorsed, or sponsored by a governmental, private, social, or educational agency or organization who seeks to confirm information about a vital event relating to any such record in preparation of reports or publications by the agency or organization for research or educational purposes.
That's good, bro... what are you drinking tonight? You're on fire, dude. This one is very plausible. Hey UNDEAD REVOLUTION - get endorsed as a Constitutional club at UCONN and get us the verification. This is very doable. Not just for them. Isn't this blog a social and educational organization? Yeah, I like this provision for getting an official verification... doesn't get us an official COLB - but we'll start with an official "verification". And that's a good place to start. I'll probably blog on this. I can think of a few organizations who should be able to procure an official verification. I don't see why this blog wouldn't be eligible. It's non-partisan. It's educational. I'm going to try this.]
Nice job, Neo. 338-18(g)(5) yes. I like it.]"
Then this..
