There are those who say that President Obama has been promoted beyond his abilities, this is a difficult statement to prove or disprove; but it remains with us and refuses to go away; it is safe to assume that he has not been promoted beyond his ambition, that is the one factor that has many of us wondering, just what are his ambitions?
For a man to direct and lead a country that is the technological leader, industrial leader, and the agricultural leader in the world is a daunting task for a man who is familiar with the problems of these industries; but for someone with no leadership experience, industrial knowledge, agricultural knowledge, technology skills or executive experience, it is more or less an exercise in absurdity. Although we are concerned about a man leading this great country with no apparent skills except for organizing people to vote, reading a teleprompter, and a willingness to campaign endlessly. The real worry that is affecting America is just how far is he willing to go with these Marxist Dreams of the Father, that he never met. That is the nightmare for those of us who believe in the Constitution, Freedoms and Culture of this Great Nation.
There was a national leader, who happens to be an African that held hidden dreams from everyone until he consolidated his power base. He was a man that was obviously promoted beyond his abilities, but not beyond his ambitions, ambitions that were extraordinary and bizarre. There are some radical differences between these two men, President Obama and President Amin, yet there were some peculiar similarities. We should point out the dissimilarities first. President Amin was a mass murderer that killed hundreds of thousands, many with his own hands or boots. President Obama doesnt look like he has ever been in a street fight. (a good quality!) President Amin was uneducated. President Obama has a Law Degree, perhaps he was given the easy flight path with Affirmative Action, it is obvious that he doesnt want us to know anything about his academic record; but we know he can read and has a Law Degree. President Amin had a sense of humor, President Obama never laughs unless it is to emphasize a snide disgust or derision about someone, a contrived laugh as opposed to a hearty yuk yuk like Amin. President Amin was a huge man, President Obama is a slight man. President Amin was the Heavyweight Boxing Champion of Uganda, President Obama plays basketball and throws a baseball like a girl. (Not a big deal, many girls throw a baseball like a girl) Amin was a 100% African, not 50%. (Not a big deal, since most of us judge the man, not his hide)
Although the differences between these two men are substantial, we are analyzing a few similarities to stress a point. Mainly that is advancing a man beyond his abilities while he harbors a secret agenda, can be a recipe for disaster.
President Idi Amin was a man who was unquestionably promoted beyond his abilities, like Obama he was a vain narcissus who didnt like to be told no or to fail. Neither of them had any executive experience before taking the leadership of their respective countries, although President Amin came up through the ranks of the British military.
President Amin joined the Kings African Rifles in 1946 as a cook. His overwhelming size, 6foot 4 and almost 300 pounds, along with a smile, charming personality, and coarse sense of humor made him a favorite with the officers and men of the British Military. Thus he was put on the fast track for rank during the time of transition from British Colonial Rule to that of self-rule for Uganda. Amins boxing skills added to his popularity, especially after winning Ugandas Heavy Weight Boxing Title. He was uncouth, uneducated, and willing to obey orders; such men were quickly advanced to sergeant and then to commissioned rank during the final stages of Britains Colonialism.

Exercise in absurdity, nuff said!
Idi Amin wouldn’t even bother to eat Barack Obama. Although he might use him as a toothpick.
How about a compare and contrast to Mugabe?

That cannot be repeated enough.
It’s actually called “The Peter Principal” and was written in the 1970’s.
Hussein wasn’t “promoted” up through a hierarchy to his level of incompetence. He was jumped over most of that hierarchy and dropped into a level far beyond his level of incompetence.
The only position I think he is good at is that of Larry Sinclair’s lover and crack smoker.
He voted present most of the time in the Senate. 100% USDA LOSER. He’s a SOROS puppet.
That happened when he made it to the Senate - this is just beyond piling on.
I can’t figure out why “the Peter Principal” ever fill out of favor. Having spent 35 years in sales it was a well worn expression.
I do know Zero is one lousy salesman.
I don’t think the copenhagen thing proves his uber-incompetence. But it does prove he is shallow, egotistical, petty, materialistic, immature, and undisciplined. I think he just learned a very important lesson that most of us learn before we are old enough to drive a car. But that doesn’t mean he don’t have any skills.
